True to a certain extent, but LF made a good point before. It seems that it’s been death by a 1000 cuts under the glazers and this is where we are.

New manager bounce, we play well for a season and everyone looks like it’s all good. Then the next season it’s doom and gloom, and wholesale changes again.

It’s just tedious now.
Thank you for the acknowledgement. The issue we have now is that we’ve still got to rock bottom, there is further to go yet. We are somehow scraping a top half of the PL finish, despite having overall stats this season that put us on a par with the worst the PL has ever seen. There are very few (if any) positives currently. Mainoo and Garnacho are just kids, but we’re pinning the future on them and that’s a heavy load for them to carry as a pair.

There has been no progress at all this season. I don’t expect us to be challenging for anything, but I expect us to do better than losing 12 matches out of 35. A negative goal difference, conceding more than we have done in living memory, scoring fewer, conceding more shots than the worst PL them ever did and so on. The tactics are non-existent. What little there seems to be is no more than everyone stand around and hope the ball goes in the opposition net without ever trying to pass the ball to our goal scorer. Midfield stand there looking baffled as the opposition swamp you. Defence get confused and run away from whoever has the ball to,allow them to shoot. Onana, jump up and down on the spot and then either dive randomly after the ball has gone past you, fall over when facing a 1 on 1, or stand there wrong footed when it’s a weak shot that any under 12 keeper could save.

Just watched a clip on YT where Michael Owen and Paul Scholes said what a great coach Steve McClaren is and that there is NO WAY he has any role in coaching these players ... which kinda makes you question what his role is. They said it would be better to sack off ETH and install SM for the final four games.

Says a lot. Owen thought it unrealistic that ETH could be coaching the team next season.

Steve McLaren?, you'd think the players are a bit sick of a Dutch accent by now.

Palace were delighted with themselves yesterday and rightly so but why haven’t they done that all season?
Roy Hodgson
Glasner has improved them massively.

Over the last 6 matches they’re 4th in the Prem.

(Man U are 13th on the same statistic, equal with Burnley)

Obviously the loss last night shouldn’t be a surprise as you lot are absolutely dire at the moment, but the manner of the defeat shouldn’t be either as Palace are flying at the moment.

Eze and Olise are very good. And Maeta seems a different player than the one under Roy

Eth has to go now for us to have anychance of winning another game this season, install Giggsy or Keano to try and cobble a team together and grow a bit of confidence before the cup final to give a fleeting chance in the game, there is nothing to lose doing this now as there is no chance Ten bob can manage the club next season, he and his signings are not good enough whatsoever and never will be he's done get rid, it is concerning me that mr ratcliff and his crew arnt acting upon this.

I've just gone to put Radio 5 live on to have some background noise whilst I do life admin, and noticed that from 19:30 there's an hour and a half show about our current plight.

Might be worth a listen, might not, but thought I'd give you all a heads up.

Why are your fans still giving these frauds a standing ovation at the end of the match, they should be after blood not congratulating them.

They've been taking them for mugs for years with these kinds of performances.

Maybe it's Stockholm syndrome.

Ten hag and his signings are terrible that says it al for me they are never going to be good enough, Honestly if Onana was born in manchester he'd be selling bobble hats on bury market by now, we need a manager who see's value in players that are actually utd fans like Cole palmer who is the lastest we missed out on and trippier a few years back to name just a few these lads would run through a brick wall for the utd cause, not like the crap we buying from timbuktu on stupid wages. It's not all about skill we need dedicated players up for the honor of wearing the shirt. we need someone who knows what it takes to be a utd manager not just whoever is available. eg Paul ince, Giggsy, Keano are all better options to finish the season with a chance to install some confidence and have a go at city in the final.

Paul Ince and Roy Keane? biglaugh

What has Paul Ince or Roy Keane done in their managerial career that thinks they will make any difference?

Or do you think because they were tough men on the pitch that means the utd players will suddenly start playing well?

Carl Anka and Andy Mitten are normally pretty good. Well sourced, respected journos who normally give some good insights vs the dross you get on social media.

personally i'd go for Giggsy but im making the point that there is nothing to lose in trying something like this now to give us a shot at playing football in the final .. Ten hag cannot manage the team next season surly not.

Giggs???
I very much doubt he’ll ever be back at United in any professional capacity

I reckon they'd make a difference if they put their boots on and played in midfield next match

Seem to remember Keano played a pretty solid match at centre half in the CL semi final. He’d have a fair chance of getting in there too at the moment.

and why's that, he's been cleared of all the trumped charges against him, he's won everything and knows everything there is to know about the game and the club.

Perhaps because he was shagging his brothers wife?
Not a good look is it really?

may as well, at least now you've grasped the point of making a change whilst there's still time.

He’s probably a bit too mobile for the United defence; might unbalance them a bit.
