As much as I liked Warburton, the time had come.
We couldn’t keep playing players out of their natural positions. I never got why some players never got a proper look in when Ben Osborn was starting every game.
Does anyone actually know if Warburton was a Marinakis appointment? I thought it was but many are saying Fawaz made the decision.

Definitely a Marinakis appointment. Fawaz wasn't making decisions at that point.
Players playing out of position due to lack of available options, Traore had some attitude problems apparently. Fox injured, Darikwa injured which meant Lichaj couldn't be played at LB
McParland went last week because of disagreements over recruitment / shifting on players, so Warburton on borrowed time at that point. And we're back to no DoF again.
Personally I'd have stuck with Warburton and looked to bring in experience this window as that's what we lacked.
However the fans have to shoulder some of the blame, or at least reign in expectations. Realistically where we are is the expectation for this season after last season in particular but after 5 yrs of decline.

Which is it Michael - City Ground or Emirates Stadium?
One suspects that the Reds will not be too concerned about the FA Cup, although the players will be determined to put on a good show against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

Even if Arsenal put out a weakened team, it is hard to see the North London outfit lose to Forest at the City Ground.

Presumably Arsenal will play their second string striker Olivier Giroud, who is a fantastic player, those top six clubs have an embarrassment of talent and yet still bicker like children over money and transfers.
