Our central midfield was non existent in this game IMO. I'm sure Colback has an important job and does it well, but I don't have a clue what it is! Id like to see Knockaert start the next game and I hope Grabban is close to returning.

Better hope 3 or 4 teams have a worse season than us, what a mess!

I can't see many points coming from the next 5 games.
Defence should be good enough, although we miss Cash. Would Worral play alongside McKenna? I feel they are too similar and I would pick McKenna first.
Midfield is poor, Arter and Freeman no improvement. Colback seems to offer nothing.
We miss Silva's creativity.
Lolley, a shadow of his previous self.
Taylor living off scraps.
How can CH play Taylor and Grabban together with such a crap midfield?

I can't see how a four person coaching team can work (obviously it isn't)

Steve McClaren as technical director? Further proof that a string of failures is no barrier to getting another job in Football.

Anyway. Could be us joining them if the team don't pull their collective socks up soon.

Going to be a long season ..

I wonder if there will be money in January. This is not a short term problem. Since dropping out of the play offs and the weakness that led to that situation, we are just fragile.

Needs a proper clear out.

Yeah we've only scored 9 goals in the Championship and no goals in our last 3 games. Only the 3 teams below us have a worse 'goals for' tally. I think our defence is OK but we're really missing Grabban and I don't know what the solution is for our disjointed midfield.

Watford next and they won 4-1 yesterday..

I don't agree that the defence is okay, Figuredo is poor and has been for a long time now.
Christie, not a patch on Cash and Ribiero didn't do anything today. As for the midfield....well.
Lolley ineffective, After and Colback poor, Ameobi just runs himself into trouble with no real end result.
Only positives were Taylor, Yates who at least tried, Knockaert and McKenna.
CH must be wondering what he has walked into.
He needs 2 or 3 seasons to sort this mess out, let's hope it's in the Championship.

I was thinking this morning that Forest would probably make quite a good League One side, we're certainly not achieving anything of note in the Championship.

Sounds like a much better performance last night and a reasonable result.
Good to see Worral back and delivering on his undoubted ability.
Seems like Arter finally produced a quality display and Cafu gave some urgency in midfield.
Now can Worral and McKenna play together in the back four.
Then we just need to find a way of getting a goal from somewhere.

I reckon a clean sheet against a former Premier League team at the top of the league was a good effort.

Samba's handling has always been suspect, really let his team down today. We never had a chance after that howler!
Good to see Worral back, but heck this is going to be a long hard season.
Let's hope the 3 below us don't win today.
