When is the stature of Jon Moss going up?

Congratulations on your return to the premier division

Had a great season especially considering the awful start. Was it bottom after 7 games?

Unbelievable, it’s been a long road.

Key thing now is whether we can hold on to all the players and also strengthen the squad.
Ha I forgot you were on the plane talk about a nervous turning your mobile on!

I echo the sentiments about it being good to have Forest back in the Premier League but if I was a Huddersfield fan I wouldn't be impressed with some of the decisions that went against them today - not for the first time VAR found wanting which just makes it worse....

OMFG!
Got home at nearly 1am.
What an awesome day. The match was never going to be a pretty affair, too much at stake.
In the first half I felt we totally dominated the game and were good for a 1-0 lead.
We did lose the midfield battle in the 2nd half and will definitely have to improve there next season, but the Terriers never really threatened.
As for the penalties, it's Karma. Also Clattenburg has posted he wouldn't have given them, but who gives a flying F***, were in the Premiership.

WHAT AN ATMOSPHERE though, not sure if I can post any videos on here, but the support was just awesome and the Premiership is where those supporters should be.

Certainly will need to strengthen for next season, but the 3 main loan players look to have made their minds up as to where they want to be playing next season, plus we should now be able to keep BJ and JW.

Just a tactical thought, could we play Sturridge behind Davies in Zincks current role?

Great pics.

I think our three centre backs have enough quality for the Prem. Worrall, Cook and McKenna just shut Huddersfield down pretty much and kept them out at set pieces pretty comfortably.

With a strong defense I hope it’s easier to pick up points next season.

One thing for sure the team that won it yesterday will never play together again. Which is kind of sad when you think about it.

Agree Samba, Worrall, Cook and McKenna all good enough. Spence if we can get him (his reactions at the end would lead me to believe he would like to return) then we need someone on the left as I don't think Max Lowe is the solution.
Midfield, I dont think Colback will be first choice and it will be a big step up for Yates, which I hope he will make.
BJ certainly, but needs to strengthen parts of his game, whilst Sturridge may well be a good sub towards the end of a game.
Do we go in for Davies, if he becomes available? Again like Spence at the end of the game you have a feeling he would like to come back.
For me it's the middle of the park where we really need some very strong investment, we got overrun in the midfield far too easily in the 2nd half of the semis and final.
But in Super Cooper and Dane I trust.

Yes, get some new midfielders in and loan us Ryan Yates again, he was brilliant for us a few seasons ago (I’m a Notts fan). Arter on the other hand, you can keep him. I watched his last match for us, he was woeful, like he couldn’t be arsed!

Really pleased for the tricky trees though, it’s long overdue. Good luck for next season!

Cheers. I’ve actually been to a few Notts County games with a mate back when you were in the league (I quite enjoyed the frisson of danger). Seem to remember a promising young Danish keeper wonder what happened to him?

This was my view. Amazing day out, voice still not recovered!

I thought Djed was good defensively, Joe was a bit nervy once of twice but the other two looked after him. Good ball from Garner for the goal. Shame Yatesey missed the first half header, as we would have been in the Thames if we had scored! smile

I'm not so sure about Cook in the Prem, but we'll need to sign another CB whatever as Figs is likely to leave and Panzo and MBS yet to prove themselves.

Did Max Lowe play in the Prem for Sheff Utd? I thought he looked good on numerous occasions this season, but there has to be big questions about the amount of times he has been injured. We need to become more balanced attack wise, as it's no coincidence that Djed is getting more heavily marked with no attacking LWB.

I reckon Yatesy will be good enough, but agree re Colback.

I'd keep Davies if possible, but think we need to sign another proper goal scorer too.

It will be interesting to see how we keep to the policy of signing young players in the Prem, when high level experience is possibly more useful. Have already seen Morgan Gibbs-White being "confirmed" as a target.

The Worrall and Cooper interviews after the match were brilliant. Numerous non-Forest mates have commented on how good they both came across.

And Yates, seems very well educated and sensible.

I think it’s all a bit of contracts bluffing.

Let’s see. Inevitable that the team will be broken up, we knew that all season. But if the warchest is really 70m +. Then we should be able to get a good squad together.
