Not ours to sell. He was on loan from Watford.
Part of me thinks him going to Olympiacos could be a canny move. He’s secured but on the back burner if some other moves don’t come off. If needed he can be loaned to Forest.

I am not sure he was Premier Leaugue quality, plus as others have said not ours anyway.
Apart from the goalkeeper issue which has hopefully been solved, the two wing backs are a must, plus midfield as we got over run easily towards the end of the season. This means maybe Garner isn't quite there yet and (I hope I am wrong) Yatesy. I would love him to succeed but for me the jury is out on whether he can make the grade as a first pick rather than squad player.
Feel very confident that in Coops and Dane, they know exactly what is needed.

Henderson in to replace Sambaclap
For me he will be a better option, and a few more in next week.

New defender too.

Forest just seem so much slicker on and off the field under Marinakis

I think it's Murphy as we were poor under the previous CEO who was a Marinakis man, with some dross being bought for mega bucks, anyone remember Carvahlo?

Now just Niakate plus the two young boys from Huddersfield and some class in the form of M G-W bounce

Not stupid sums of money being spent...well actually it is but that's football mad

Some decent signings, I think you'll survive, but always hard when losing a few players and having to replace them.

Looking forward to our matches, hopefully not a repeat of the last time we played!

My Bro-in-law is an ardent Foxes fan and staying with us on the south coast for a few days.
He seems pretty depressed with the lack of any transfer action by Leicester and really pessimistic for this season.
Going to be an interesting season for Forest and a challenge for Steve Cooper to get all these new players to gel quickly so we are not immediately facing a worrying start to Premiership life. In Cooper we trust though!

Some quality additions to the squad, now just need an attacking midfielder and Keinan Davies....oh and get Coops to sign a new contract, which is probably the most important.

Yes I was really happy to see Neco join. I think that’s great business.

Cooper still has a year. It might be a long hard season for the club. I hope not, I think we will go well, but you never know.

Mad money that, gotta be careful you don't go bust trying to stay in the Prem.

Decent player on his day though, his WHU form was superb.

He really was a star player at WHU last season.
I don't think the owner is thinking about fighting relegation, he seems prepared to invest every penny of the Sky money back into the club.
If it costs us £12M it's a pretty good investment.

The total deal does make sense, but I wonder if it will put players noses out of joint being on 30K a week and he rocks up earning £200k a week.

Aye can unsettle a squad very quickly, but might not happen in this case.

Bought my West Ham ticket today. Nothing left in A block so returning to Trent End Upper for first time in ages.

Anyone else going?

Seems the truth is more like 80k a weeks and up to 120k it’s additions.

Agree it has potential to unsettle the dressing room, but bringing in new players always has that risk.

We have no option but to spend, with only Johnson, Worral, McKenna being potential Premiership quality and Cook, Yates, Cafu and Colback really just back up squad players.
Teams like Bournemouth who have been up and down and have a strong squad of mainly Premiership players and benefitted from Golden Parachute payments haven't needed to add in anywhere near the same volume.
Cooper's got a though task, but I am confident he has the ability to get them to gel.
Just glad we have EM and Dane running the club.

Unfortunately (or not) living on the South Coast, I couldn't justify a season ticket for the few matches I could attend or my pension could afford.
Will have to rely on my "old Red hero" family member to get me one for the really interesting games whistle
