Not sure it was the correct decision with around 30 minutes to go maybe 15 as we aren't good at soaking up the pressure.
It was basically asking them to attack us for the last 25minutes which we simply aren’t good enough to defend. And we had no Dennis to hit them on the break.Need 4 points from Villa and Leeds now.
This did not stop us attacking and we continued to look dangerous. But for poor finishing and poor decision making we could've had three or four. As it is Wolves had one chance thanks to a lucky rebound and scored.
We didn't go defensive for the last half hour, we did change shape, and it worked.
Lots of positives from the game, not least Awoniyi coming on.
Felipe an absolute brick wall. Danilo and MGW interaction was sublime at times. Johnson did what Johnson does.
Sh**e ref too.
Case in point, their goal came from an offside which was debatable. Wolves tried twice to take it in our half!!!! Then, with the linesman standing ten yards in the Wolves half indicating where the offside took place, they took the free kick almost on the half way line. If the linesman isn't doing anything about that what is he even there for?

With thirty to go Wolves threw more players up front, which we had to match by going to three at the back.

Agree 100%. Wolves still only managed 1 shot on target, even though they were throwing more at it. Just a shame that 1 shot resulted in a goal. Listening to the Garibaldi Red podcast earlier, apparently since the beginning of the Premier League era 39 managers have been sacked in March.
Of those only 7 of the clubs have finished higher than they were when the manager was sacked.
So less than one in five chance that fortunes improve.
Just one of many reasons why it would be a bad idea to sack Cooper. My feeling is, if we don’t stay up - and year one is the hardest by far - then there’s no-one better placed to get us promoted again.

Another poor performance from what I’m hearing?
Cooper out, Viera in? Not sure if that is the right answer.
Apparently the Viera story is nonsense. But it's a results business and Cooper for all his good points, ain't getting them at the moment. Cooper out, Viera in? Not sure if that is the right answer.
Personally I'd stick with him, even if we go down, but I can't see the boss putting up with this.
Our biggest problem all season is we can't hold on to the ball and constantly loose it in midfield. If we do win it back the only option is to punt it forward and hope we find a red shirt. To be honest I got the feeling a fair few of the players heads have dropped and are already looking to their own futures should we drop. BJ looks frustrated and is definitely not 100% fit. I would love to know what Surridge has done to upset SC as he deserves a decent run out. With our run in it looks a tall order to stay up but Forest have always been a team in the past that often struggled against teams around them but gave a better account against higher teams. We need to do a Fulham and take a long hard look at ourselves, create a squad who know and play with each other and bounce back from the championship next season and to be honest I'd rather have SC for that than start all over again.
Club Statement
Nottingham Forest say Steve Cooper remains manager and that they "wish to end the speculation and the false and disruptive reporting" about his job.
Forest, beaten 2-1 by Leeds United on Tuesday, are 17th in the Premier League, above the relegation zone only on goal difference.
In a statement, owner Evangelos Marinakis said the club must come together to secure their survival.
He said "results and performances must improve immediately".
