Sadly I have to agree, but unfortunately I can see this continuing for another month or 2 before the board make any decision.

Trouble is, who could we get in?

We were linked in the papers at the weekend with Jardim, who has just left Monaco.

Even if he didn't improve results, we'd lose playing attacking football.

It's dire at the minute. 4 games without a goal, looking 1 dimensional against every team and it feels like the system we play is just not working. I know we lack creativity, but you'd think that someone could put a dangerous ball in the box from time to time

I personally don't think it would make much difference whoever we had in charge. The fact is we have a decidedly average squad of players. I haven't wanted to accept that the last couple of years but it is how it is.

We have a couple of quality players; Ings, Hojbjerg. I think we also need to put a bit of faith in Gabbiadini as there is a quality player in there and if he can get firing that might just save us. He needs to play and build confidence.

We are creating a lot of chances, we need to convert them!!!

Absolute shocker of a result today. We're in big trouble this year.

The worry at the start of the season was where the goals were going to come from - that worry is becoming a very grave concern.

Newcastle were absolutely there for the taking on Saturday but, as has been the majority case this season, the opposition 'keeper had pretty much nothing to do.

Whilst I've never been one to boo the players, I do understand the frustrations of those who did at the end of the game. What's that, five league games now without a goal ?

Rather than focusing on whether fans prefer burgers, pasties or pizza, Wreck-it-Ralph's recent questionnaire about enhancement of the matchday experience could have answered in one - start providing a little entertainment.

I think our biggest problem is midfield - just no real quality or creativity. Over the past few seasons we've seen the likes of Mane, Tadic, Wanyama, Lallana, Schneiderlin, etc, leave, but their replacements have been poor or inconsistent.

Elsewhere we have some reasonable players - McCarthy/Forster in goal, Bertrand/Cedric in defence, and Ings/Austin are proven goal scorers (and I also believe there's a decent player in Gabbiadini somewhere), but without a decent midfield they're always going to struggle.
