I'm down at Staplewood tomorrow covering the under-18's, Jiffle, I'll give you a progress report on the kids when I get back!
That would be great!!! Thankyou Stand out player was the Saints 9, brilliantly named Benni Smales-Braithwaite. Full of running, tall, strong, some nice touches and finished his goal superbly. The other exotically named new signing is Pascal Kpohomouh from Man City and looks very good on the ball. Hard to tell with a season's opener as some players look world beaters and others look panel beaters but an enjoyable afternoon all the same.
A shaky first 15 minutes, but the gulf in class (and finishing) told in the end.
Two for local lad Ings (at their end) was very sweet - he's earned his place in the Hall of Fame with that performance, but a hat-trick last night would have provided even more icing for the already heavily iced cake.
No surprise the bluehalf quarter of Hampshire is eerily quiet this morning

I'm a Saints fan and work in Portsmouth. I'm not in work until later this afternoon but I might go in with my smug "Clarkson" face Two for local lad Ings (at their end) was very sweet - he's earned his place in the Hall of Fame with that performance, but a hat-trick last night would have provided even more icing for the already heavily iced cake.

Speaking of eerily quiet, what about the away end last night? Two for local lad Ings (at their end) was very sweet - he's earned his place in the Hall of Fame with that performance, but a hat-trick last night would have provided even more icing for the already heavily iced cake.
