The only piece of good news on the horizon seems to be the run of games against teams below use it the league, hopefully a couple of wins will see us safe.... Looking forward to next season and being allowed back to games....
Like Everton and Man Citeh? hehe
But yeah, Brighton, Burnley, WBA, Sheffield, Pal-arse - i'd like to think we can pick up *some* points from them

Game against Brighton Sunday 14th will be on bbc

Bravely says "no" as i still think there are worse teams below us. But it'll be a bit close for comfort.
We'll hopefully have a few players back from injury soon

I have been surprised just how much they miss KWP. Not so surprised at Romeu obviously...

We have not won at Goodison this century so did not expect anything different last night. The worrying thing is the lack of creativity in the side at the moment. Add to that Ralph putting square pegs in round holes and we have a recipe for disaster. As others have said there are thankfully worse teams in the league than us.

Three points, hooray!

I hope Ings's injury isn't serious

Jim Magilton. He would slot straight back into our system. Loved a backwards pass. If he was feeling really positive he would occasionally pass it sideways. Ralph would love him.

On a serious note, considering we were effectively playing with 10 men for the last 20mins, we did well to hold onto that.

On a more serious note, Armstrong and Forster were our only positives. Good shot from Che too.

Well that was a pleasant win. I had a horrible feeling that after Sheffield United picked up a win against Villa in the week we might face a side with some renewed confidence.

Made especially sweet by the fact I watched the game in the bar with my neighbour who is a Blades fan smile

Pace is there for sure and some great touches. Let’s hope the finishing composure is there too

We played pretty well, a few errors of course, but we put up a good fight.

Massive game today. I think a win and we're safe, a draw possibly enough but defeat would certainly not be good with Fulham looking a little better (OK, they lost last night to Man City, but most teams do that.....).

We are already safe. Not all of the teams below us are going to go on European qualification form . Plus the teams below us will be playing each other too . Have faith thumbup

I don't think 33 points will be enough personally, the teams below you will almost certain win another couple of games which will make it very close.

36 points however would be safe IMO, you only need 1 win in 10, so yeah, you'll achieve that, I think.... whistle

Well it's not a great start is it. Carry on with this form and we'll definitely be going down next year.

Was that fair to pull that back for the freekick?

The ref played advantage that allowed a very good scoring chance. It was a good advantage. He should have scored.

Always a difficult one to say when to say advantage over. I'd say Adams had a free shot so it was advantage over, but then I don't know the refs' guidelines.
