Watched the match and we dominated. Excellent performance I thought.

In other news, my other club is Elche and since saints sold Guido Carrillo to them he’s been firing them in (unlike when at saints as our record signing). Scored again in their 2-1 win last night. Finally I can celebrate his arrival at one of my clubs at least.

I think that survival is now assured. Last season the bottom three teams didn't get to 30 points and in 2020 35 points was just enough.

I agree and I admit to not being a fan previously. Always thought his timing could be a bit iffy which, coupled with his aggression, could be a bit of a liability. However, he seems to have sorted the former and is now looking a very dependable player.

Couldn't agree more. He has improved a lot in the last couple of years. Oozes class. He and JWP have created a formidable partnership.

I think both JWP and Romeu have stepped up in recent weeks. The consistency of the performances is what has made a difference and it gives the defence confidence.

I watched the match this morning, and a well deserved victory it was, but if I was Dean Smith I wonder just what he had to say to his right back Brandon Williams for the way he ducked away from Romeu's shot? Norwich looked a defeatist side from the outset, and an interesting comment that Southampton have the fourth best defence in the league only behind the likes of Liverpool and Mn city. High praise indeed.
