I wonder what the reasoning behind potentially hiring Marsch is. He failed at Leeds and therefore..... What? Will be a good fit for Saints?

I've read they're talking about a short term contract.

A place holder util a new manager at the end of the season. Perhaos one who is currently under contract?

Short term? Wasn't the last one short enough for you? If we carry on like this we'll be paying compensation before they even see the pitch!

Listening to Fraser Forster playing for Spurs in the Champions league....

Wish him all the best as I don't think he would have expected to be playing in this game if you go back 3 months

Well, with Marsch we'll be relegated with a better quality of loss than Nathan I feel.

If it was me, I would offer something silly such as £10m if the new manager keeps them up BUT barely any salary and no contract beyond the end of the season.

It's a results-based business so let's see how many big guns would take it.

probably still going down though

The BBC link above talks about the length of the contract being the problem but this article suggests some of your senior players weren't happy at the prospect of Marsch taking over?

Well clearly Selles is not the man for the full time job with that disgusting abomination of a starting lineup.

Imagine being in the Chelsea dressing room right now trying to decide who takes the first hat trick.

I considered putting £10 on a Saints win but don’t want to jinx it/became realistic.

Nah, we're still a win behind, other results not especially going our way either frown

I assure you I’ve sacrificed £80 for the win - if I did make the bet they’d have all fallen over in the last 5 mins. Happy for the team - a lot of work to do.

Absolutely massive game this weekend. Dare we dream.....we beat Leeds, Man City beat Bournemouth and we jump out of the relegation zone? Not unfeasible but I can't see us winning to be honest. Fingers crossed we do!
