I know the league have rules but it does seem a little harsh to try and prevent someone from buying out a club (and associated debts) that would otherwise be bankrupt and god knows where by now. Yet the same regulatory body allow certain premiership clubs to run their businesses at a £250m loss each season.
Maybe they should look at these clubs and consider the fairness on all other clubs in the league and start docking points as financial penalties clearly don't bother them.
If the FA were to ban every director with a slightly dubious tax history from the job there would be quite a few job vacancies me thinks!

up the millers!!!!!!!
sorry local derby and all that. decent game not great but i think we shaded it over 90 minutes...leeds seemed to sit back in the second half, clearly superior skill and pace, slightly odd tactics...
could be a vital three points for us even at this stage.
i'd have taken a draw at half time

Funnily enough, just after the game I got the feeling that it was dead man walking time. Did he actually do anything? Hopefully Redfearn can carry on where he left off, we actually seemed to be going somewhere with him at the helm.

Must be due a manager change aren't we?
Hopefully Redfearn will be given the time it appears he's negotiated to get things right for us but if not at least he's been told he can go back to his academy job (but what of the guy who's then doing the job?).
No doubt Redfearn will be on his way if we lose to Blackpool on Saturday. I remain very uneasy about where we're going to finish this season; only two points above the drop zone after 16 games isn't what you'd call confidence inspiring!Hopefully Redfearn will be given the time it appears he's negotiated to get things right for us but if not at least he's been told he can go back to his academy job (but what of the guy who's then doing the job?).
