Can we hold him to that? Please?Does anyone think Evans is the man to take us back into the Premiership? Is he the man to take anyone into the Premiership for that matter?
What looked to be a reasonable performance against the already run away leaders, hit the woodwork twice, missed a sitter & Row Z Zamora scores in the last minute to me isn't the reason to sack the manager. Was I happy with Rosler in the first place? No, not really but come on Cellino wake the fk up. Your hire 'em fire 'em attitude doesn't work & in itself is costing money with pay offs so keep a manager & put the next payoff into new players.
Seems Cellino was given the news about his suspension by the Football League last Wednesday. So he then had his rambling statement on Friday where he fked up the away tickets for future game by saying we would only take the minimum allowance which is 2,000. Then he's sacked Uwe and replaced him with Too Many Pies just before the league made the announcement.
Utter tosspot.

You'd think that to have accumulated the wealth he has Cellino would have at least some business acumen but if he has he keeps it well hidden - the way he's running things you'd almost think relegation was the target (and the way it's going he has every chance of achieving it). Can't say I was ever that keen on Rosler but having made the appointment I'd have given him a bit longer; however, if you're going to get rid at least replace with someone better and Evans doesn't fit that bill IMO (although no half decent manager would want to work for Cellino so perhaps the choice of candidates wasn't great).
l actually think Cellino would have done better if he'd stuck with - and backed - Brian McDermott as in all honesty none of the subsequent replacements have been as good; sadly, though, it's evident that the real problem is Cellino himself and it feels like we're back to where we were in the Bates era (i.e. desperate for new owners who a) know what they're doing, b) have the interests of the club at heart and c) have the financial resource to move things forward). Really hope I'm wrong but it all has the feel of something that could implode over the next few months with us back in League 1 if we're not careful......

I went to the game last night and I can honestly say that was probably the worst performance I have seen from us. Utterly devoid of any passion or fight, piss poor. We had a better team in our league one years under Bates.
Evans told the press after the match that we need 6-7 more players and the January transfer window will be a busy period for him. At this rate he won't make it till the end of November before Cellino shows him the door. We looked like relegation fodder and at this rate it will be league one next season.
We've had enough, we've had enough. We're Leeds United and we've had enough!

Another home game another loss , it can and will get worse. With MC in charge hello L1.
Thankfully I wasn't there but I watched on Sky and frankly we were awful; I've been trying to comfort myself with the thought that there are at least 3 teams in the Championship who are worse than us but I'm now beginning to wonder. Jocky Wilson certainly doesn't feel like the man to turn things round and I reckon there's a good chance he'll be gone by the end of November if the performances continue in a similar vein to last night; however, we don't just need a new manager, we need a new owner.....ETA: I see Cellino is saying he's contemplating walking away although I'll only believe it when I see it and if he does I suspect he'll want a tidy return on his investment - fear we're stuck with him for a while yet!

It was a massive improvement from the week before, great goal too. I see Cellino has now reneged on his offer to sell to Leeds Fans United. I'm guessing he used the whole charade as free marketing to advertise that he wan't to sell and now he can just sit back and wait for offers from another loaded despot.

No great surprise that Cellino has back-tracked on his offer to sell the club to the fans for what he paid for it; if nothing else I suspect his ego will prevent him walking away without at least turning a decent profit so I fear we're stuck with him for a while yet. Even if there are serious bidders out there - and even if Cellino is serious about selling - I can see any sale taking a while to complete as I suspect he won't be the easiest person to deal with; the hope is that any potential off-field distraction won't do too much damage on the pitch but notwithstanding the win the other night I remain very nervous about the way this season's going......Zad said:
As I understand it, he talked a good talk. Then the supporters group asked for something in writing, at which point he decided he didn't actually mean it. Hmm. Good on the group for pushing for something concrete though and calling his bluff.
Could be that he was just using the supporters group to create interest with other bidders (no doubt with a view to pushing the price up). Equally he could be just messing everyone around with no intention of selling at all - suspect trying to negotiate with him is like knitting with fog! Well, a month on and things are looking slightly less dire; certainly don't see us making the play-offs but for the time being at least we've managed to put a bit of clear blue water between us and the relegation zone! We also gave Derby a decent game last night which was a reasonable effort considering you'd think they'll be play-offs at least come the end of the season. It will be interesting to see what happens in the January transfer window but sadly I think we're more likely to lose good players (notably Sam Byram) than recruit anyone of note; nevertheless, over the last few weeks SE has made a better fist of things than probably most supporters expected so credit to him for that!
