having 2 games in 48 hours will be tough and seems typical of the EFL mentality towards Leeds, can't recall anybody else having to do that
Yes, being asked to play on the Thursday evening and then again on the Saturday afternoon does seem quite unfair - generally teams seem to be getting a minimum of two full days between games so we've got a very quick turn-around there. The team we're playing on the Thursday (Barnsley) don't play again until the Sunday afternoon and I'd have thought the same ought to have applied to us...

Can't remember which player said it. But, one of them said they didn't mind playing games so close together, as it was easier than training.

Possibly so give how hard Bielsa apparently works his players in training! However, matches close together is one thing but two in the space of less than 48 hours is pushing it a bit - it doesn't look like any of the other top four have been put in a similar position so what we're being asked to do doesn't seem very fair or equitable IMO.

What else would we expect from the EFL though?

The Derby game has now been moved to Sunday 19th, picked for Sky 14:00 KO

It's not like the football league have form when it comes to us though. Shades of 1972 wink

Yes, there's no way a team would be told to play a league title decider on a Monday night when they've just played a cup final at Wembley on the Saturday; after all, league games were never normally played on a Monday in those days were they? Oh, hang on a minute..... wink

RIP Jack like you say another club legend gone... Would be a fitting tribute if the boys can get us up this year. #MOT

Agreed! Still, an uncharacteristic win towards the end of the journey. I heard the cheers from houses around me as I was working in the garden hehe

Given the results yesterday I'd have probably settled for a point today so a win's a bonus! Hernandez once again made a huge difference when he came on but I reckon Ayling also deserves a mention for the goal; almost the end of the match on a warm afternoon and he still had the energy to get forward and get a decent cross in.

As others have said, one game at a time so roll-on Barnsley on Thursday!
