Given the option of Rodrigo or Watkins, I'd have Rodrigo any day. Happy not to have signed Benrahma too, for his holiday video alone...

Sky Sports News reporting we've agreed a fee with Valencia albeit not (as yet) personal terms with Rodrigo; don't know much about him but got to assume Bielsa's approved - or perhaps requested - us to go after him?

Rumours also circulating we're likely to make a formal offer for Robin Koch before the end of this week; shame nothing's come of bringing Ben White back but Koch sounds like he might be a suitable replacement so fingers crossed as we really need another CB.

We really need two CBs. Struijk is a good prospect but Berardi is out of the picture.

Wouldn't disagree with that; if we could do the deal on Koch and Brighton then relented on White I'd happily take both if the budget allowed! Sadly I think the chances of landing White have gone so maybe Holding would be worth a look if Arsenal are prepared to sell for sensible money?

Rodrigo confirmed this morning, and Robin Koch due for a medical this weekend.

Interest in Axel Tuanzebe from scum according to Phil Hay, not sure how much but Bielsa open to another CB now. We do seem light in that area, only spent about £45m so far and I think Angus Kinnear said in an interview we'd be spending roughly £75m all in on new signings (excluding costa), so £30m left to splash on a CB/ No 10?

We do need another CB and I'm sure Bielsa knows that, so I wouldn't be surprised. We've still got space for a loan player as well, you're allowed 2 in the PL and we've only got Jack H at the moment.
