Great performance in the second half too from what I saw of it.

This season we just need to pick up as many points as we can to avoid a relegation battle so a very good 3 points to take.

Only heard part of a radio commentary so it will be interesting to see MOTD tonight. I was expecting a draw, or potentially a 1-0 loss to be honest, so that was a pleasant surprise. The clean sheet is especially important. I know our defence was far from brilliant (aside from the goalie's performance) but the history books will show 3 points and nothing conceded. Sheff Utd are no walk-over despite what the recent results say, so I'll happily take today's result.

From the media comments, we still seem to be winning people over with our playing style, which has to be good for the overall profile of the club in the longer term. I'm still partly in shock that we have an owner who actually spends money on bringing players in at a crucial time, and is not just selling them off.

Agreed a great result and I'd have settled for a good point but great to take all 3 points. I don't think we did too bad defensively, Koch seems to be improving game on game and Meslier was superb.

I also thought Rodrigo started to find his feet and played some pretty good football being very involved in the subsequent goal. Nice to see Bamford on the score sheet again and he is certainly putting the naysayers from the last seasons in their place...

Well I thought Cuisance from Bayern Munich sounded a great signing but apparently he's failed his medical and it's all off? If true we're probably right to walk away although I do hope it won't turn out to be another Asa Hartford moment!

Unless Orta's got some other deals simmering on the back burner it feels like we'll now be running with what we've got unless we're prepared to look at Championship players like Cantwell or Benrahma. Generally that doesn't worry me although I do think we could do with a creative midfielder to cover for Hernandez (which is why I thought Cuisance looked a good buy); guess it might give the likes of Roberts a chance to step up although personally I'm not convinced he's quite the same sort of player as Pablo....

I’m neutral but haven’t enjoyed a game as much for ages. Kudos to Leeds.

Chelsea, Scum, take note.

This is what a real Manager can achieve.

Great game to watch, really enjoyed it. Mental that you had more possession than Man City too, that doesn't happen often. 7 points from your first 4 games is a brilliant return, keep it up.

Massive point. Little Ian Poveda looks like he has levelled up. Missing Hernandez, hopefully he will be back soon.

Rodrigo is starting to settle in, missed Harrison but thankfully he’ll be back for the next game.

Can’t wait for us to play Chelsea and Scum

Took some time to settle into that one. But a well deserved bonus point.

Poveda was class. Roberts was disappointing again and I can't see him starting many more games.

My predictions this year have totally gone out of the window. Going into this, I thought we'd lose 0-2. Any better than that and I'd be happy. Turns out 1-1 might potentially be a bit flattering to City. Another that could have gone either way, and with an Elland Rd home crowd who knows! Another point that was totally unexpected, and which puts us (before all the many many games in hand other teams have) in 5th. It is a LONG time since Leeds have played this well, and better opposition just seems to make the team step up to the challenge.

Really enjoyed the 2nd half. It's such, such a shame the stands are empty, it would have been going off.

On another day it could have been game over after 20 minutes but I thought we showed real character to dig-in and establish a foothold in the match; City certainly had more chances but I think we had the better ones and in the end just about deserved the point. Good to see Rodrigo get on the score sheet and I thought Poveda did well when he came on; however, I also felt Roberts was a bit disappointing - a mate of mine sees him as the replacement for Hernandez but I'm far from convinced....

Once Rodrigo is fully Bielsa fit, Roberts won't be starting and I think Hernandez will be reduced to cameo appearances.

Digital Wilson knocking the announcement out of the park with the fish and chips tweet. Seems we really pissed off some Rennes fans!

I was really hoping the fish and chips would still be on the table in the photo of Raphinha signing.

Still, Graveley's have got some free publicity tonight...

sthousing of the highest order!

Phil Hay says we are eyeing up one more domestic midfielder as cover for Klich.

Either way we've had a bloody good window.
