So how much are Utd going to be paying him a week?
I read somewhere he wanted 500k a week at Citeh - utterly ridiculous! (story is probably BS too)
According to the beeb the whole deal works out at £500k a week taking into account agents fees etcI read somewhere he wanted 500k a week at Citeh - utterly ridiculous! (story is probably BS too)

Everyone had him going to City two weeks ago but he's obviously had a better offer, Can't really blame him.

Neymar is costing PSG £1,730,000.00 per week. You tell me who got the better deal United or PSG...https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=...

whether its right or wrong there is a clear difference that liverpool and utd have generated their own money rather than just won the 'lottery' surely you can recognise that?
Not really. Most of United's income comes from sponsorship, money from Sky TV etc, the gate money contributes only a small percentage of that, but I accept they manage to get 75,000 in OT every game, although admittedly 20,000 come from Essex.. Talking of state funded clubs what about PSG?.....and Arsenal, Liverpool, Newcastle etc are all owned by billionaires.
Anyhow, I don't mind a bit of light hearted banter on PH between rival clubs as long as it doesn't get too heavy.
It's all good fun.
if you look back in the recent past, and even before football was invented (1993 ), there have been loads of 'unfair' deals done by people in football with money. Arsenal, Manyoo, Real Madrid among others. City's owners wanted the club to be at the top table in europe, which in my opinion is run as a cartel anyway, so threw a wedge of cash at it. Yes, mercenaries were attracted and were a necessary stepping stone to what we're seeing now. Is the current football sustainable and will it bring silverware? we'll have to see.
