Was a poor tackle and gave the ref a decision to make. Usual bks on tv to analyse it but they are simply wrong in Law and it was borderline red.
The FA call these “orange cards” and the instruction is to show a red card in those situations.
Getting out the yellow card was not ideal, but most likely he got a nod from the assistant on the near side who had a better angle and so he changed his mind.

That was exactly my first thought too. Red was a bit harsh but the tackle from Delph was completely unnecessary a minute from half time and under no pressure at all. Why do I snigger every time I hear Max Power has the ball?
