Not far from a full strength side tonight,
Other PL managers should take note.

City were prepared to pay over £100M on players because two of their players got injured in January.

City aren't in the real football world my friend.

So are they in the fake football world then? Black can man needs to catch up with the real football world I'm afraid.

Actually I just checked and I can confirm a red card was given.

Player pressure, Wigan should have already been down to 10 men for the challenge on Sergio.

Probably not but it’s happend now. The strange thing was getting out the yellow card out then changing his mind.

Was a poor tackle and gave the ref a decision to make. Usual bks on tv to analyse it but they are simply wrong in Law and it was borderline red.

The FA call these “orange cards” and the instruction is to show a red card in those situations.

Getting out the yellow card was not ideal, but most likely he got a nod from the assistant on the near side who had a better angle and so he changed his mind.

Good game to watch for a neutral. City should have scored a couple by now but down to ten men is keeping it interesting.

Funnily enough Wigan’s next league match is against Rochdale.

Yes it was, exactly the sort of leg breaker Pep has been talking about.

I can see why a red was given.

That was exactly my first thought too. Red was a bit harsh but the tackle from Delph was completely unnecessary a minute from half time and under no pressure at all.

Why do I snigger every time I hear Max Power has the ball?

I can see why but it was far from a leg breaker

fk me there’s some city players doing some serious diving here. Obviously trying to even it up. That Silva one just now was comical.

Is your tv on the blink or do you have no idea what. You’re talking about?

Pressure is really ramping up but Wigan are doggedly hanging on.
