Well done, first trophy of the season.

Yes, pleased for Vinnie, he has had some terrible luck the last few seasons...piss poor of Arsenal fans leaving fifteen minutes from the end, not fair on their players, a few minutes before maybe.

Well done City, the treble is still a possibility...not many teams would want to play us at the moment. (Except Wigan lol!)
It’s not the treble, it’s three cups. There is only one Treble.
Oh, you mean the one you fluked in "Fergie time" nineteen years ago.....biggrin

That’s the one smile

Will you be as dismissive of your league win, given how many points you’ve accrued in Pep time this season? wink

Congratulations you blue nose gets! hehe Would have been a bit harder if Arsenal had actually sent a team out to play against you!

Kompany is class personified. You lot have been extremely privileged to have him playing for you as long as he has.

Enjoy your evening. smile
Thank you Mr AD.

Very much appreciated.

Another masterful first half performance, we have got to be in with a shout of winning the Champions league surely?

Very pleased for Vincent, he is back to his best......what a player.

Question....do you guys reckon Pep will start resting players in the PL soon to help keep freshness for the CL, or do you think he'll be chasing the records with respect to things like highest points tally, biggest goal difference, most goals scored etc?

If it was me I’d start resting players but I’m not Pep!
I reckon he’ll want to keep on get victory’s, not to set records, but to keep the momentum of a winning side going.

You’ve got to feel sorry for Wenger though. His side play awful and don’t seem to care and lose 3-0 at full time.
This time they seem more organised and are making more effort and more chances.
Yet they’re 3-0 down at half time.
Go figure.

I know a few Arsenal fans that would pay to see that right about now.

1st half showed what city can do when turning up the gas.

by the way, ozil is stealing his wages.

First half was magnificent - with three quality goals.

Second half was a controlled performance knowing the points were in the bag.

Fantastic level of football from City.

What a surprise, given he has just signed his lucrative new deal.... scratchchin

Watched him off the ball last night, he is indeed stealing his wages. If he loses the ball, he won't try to get it back; if someone is just 1% too firm in tackling him, he'll collapse to the floor, not get the free kick and wave his hand accusingly at the ref. And considering the guy is living his boyhood dream of playing football in the PL and for his country, earning mega money; he is the most miserable sour-faced puss you see on a football pitch. Cheer up man FFS.

I'll maintain that he remains one of, if not THE most, over rated player in the PL. He's on at least twice what Harry Kane is on yet so rarely shows the quality to earn it these days.

i feel gutted for arsenal fans, as it's just another facet showing how wenger has lost the plot.

I'd like to think we're in with a decent chance of winning the UCL this year, we're playing the best football we've ever played plus Madrid/Bayern/Barca don't seem to be as strong as they were a year or two ago. It's a different story when/if the time comes but I'm feeling optimistic wink

Also, regarding last night... I couldn't help but feel a bit sorry for Arsenal hehe That's the third time we've beaten them this season, in three stadiums, scoring 3 each time hehe

I remember looking at the fixture list a while back when city were not quite so far ahead thinking "Arsenal and then Chelsea just a few days later, and Man Utd not long beforehand.... That'll be the test for them" and they've gone and beaten them all.

I'm not sure whether you'll reach 100 points, but I'm pretty sure you'll hit an all-time record of 96 (just 6 wins from 9 will see to that). Absolutely outstanding, I'm not a Man City fan but I admire how they've performed this season. Just a pity my best mate is a huge Liverpool fan and he won't let it down they beat you....
