Nice touch with Vera and Olga as the mascots.
Imagine the danger they’d have been if they were Utd fans and Rooney was still playing.

I’ve heard Jose has been in touch about a possible transfer and to see whether Olga can play LB.

Not much to say really. We were poor and deserved to lose but fans of other teams should really stop creaming their pants until they’ve actually won something ...

Wrong team selection.

We really need KDB back ASAP.

No excuses, let's hope it's a wake up call.

To me the Champions League is the pinnacle of club football.

I also can't understand why Man City get such poor crowds and poor atmospheres for the biggest games.

It isn't a good sight to see so many empty seats.

You’re not wrong. I cashed out after 70mins and lumped it on Lyon with a bit at 2:1 and just about got my money back - how did you lose to Lyon FFS?!?

What a waste of an evening. They looked like City but didn’t play like City.
I’ve been there plenty of times when it’s been electric but not last night frown

I don’t know. There’s been plenty of home matches recently and City fans aren’t exactly big fans of UEFA and the CL so maybe that was it?
Oh by the way Cie your needles stuck, change your record, average attendance last year was 54000 wink

Why's that? genuine question , i just heard on the radio this morning that you had 12k less than you did v Huddersfield the other week and it took me by surprise.

There’s been a lot of accusations of double standards concerning how UEFA have treated City, particulate when the were fined more for being 30 seconds late than Porto were fined after Balotelli was racially abused and then when they played CSKA Moscow behind closed doors despite there being plenty of CSKA fans being present etc

I think many City supporters are not that bothered about the Champions league, they hate EUFA, it was an early group stage game, maybe if we get to the semis against Real or Barca, it might tempt them out of the pub.

Average attendance is over 50,000, and when we won the league in 1967/8 it was only 37,000 at Maine Road.

City are never going to have gates of 70,000 every week, unlike United, but half of them live in Essex and Malta.

What you want is quality, not quantity....biggrin
