As a red it’s a nightmare watching city and Liverpool battle it out ,and until last night I wasn’t sure who I wanted to win but I actually cheered the sane goal so
My subconscious has told me I want city to win the league ahead of the scousers.
Good game and the right result overall.

I think it’s a bit early to say Liverpool are imploding out loud imho.
I’m thinking it but they’re a lazy lot, throwing 2 cups so they don’t have to play so much hehe

I don't think we're currently any more inconsistent than you.

Another talented youth player sold...as City fans, does it not grate that Pep doesn't support the academy and just buys ready made players?

Not really. The plan is to buy them back in the future if they develop but give them experience for their own benefit right now wink
None of these players are good enough to get in the starting line up yet with the exception of Foden, who is going to be very important to City. He won’t be going any where.
Diaz wasn’t content to wait and bide his time so good luck to him. Ultimately he isn’t good enough yet.
I don’t think Pep is alone in this style of mamagement. Footballs moved on from the days when a youngster could slot in and learn from the older players. Success is everything now, managers don’t stay long enough these days. Better to buy them back when they’re good enough.

tbh though I’m surprised you’d heard of him?

Tbh, you didn’t really need a crystal ball to see this result coming.
Burton are trying hard and making a respectable effort but there’s to much of a gulf.
At their place it’ll probably be a lot harder.

I think this tie might have slipped out of Burton's grasp.

Do away goals count. If so, if you can score early at their place, they'll need 11.
