While. Liverpool are still in the driving seat, if it was the other way round with. city equal on points but a game in hand and Liverpool had put 6 past Chelsea yesterday, I’d be more than a bit nervous Amy the moment.
Meanwhile, I’m quietly confident.
the way you are playing you have to be favourites - next game is a big one for us

I think city have an easier run in than Liverpool ,but I fancied city to win it when they were x points behind Liverpool anyway.
But it’s up to Liverpool ,win all the remaining games and it’s irrelevant what city do.

I believe there is actually a limit to the level of fantasy that the human mind can conjure up.

The whole nation is rooting for this unlikely scenario ,although their fans do their utmost to make one detest them.

Not a very surprising result tbh but there can’t be many in the ground who aren’t happy one way or another.

Millwall or Swansea for you guys in the next round then. I know it’s not been drawn yet, but the rules of cup competitions are clear this year and you have to get the easiest opponent each time

Be nice if they can get another game away from home, always nice for the City players to play in front of a full house for a change.

There’s always the danger they’ll get their coach smashed up when they play lower ranked teams though wink

Jesus, the BT team hamming up the "VAR controversy" angle and a bunch of terrible pundits belittling their guest refereeing expert is cringeworthy. What awful coverage.
