I was going to Add Eriksen to the list after Jammy's boast but he has 4 more than all this lot put together with 9 & that's just in the league.

I did indeed get Eriksen wrong. To be honest there were so many Spurs players with so few assists (surprised myself actually) I lost track.

City fan in hospital after assault after Schalke game: https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/47315415

Hope he recovers soon! It's a real shame incidents like this still happen.

Hope the lad recovers

Only read a couple of pages but lots seem to saying a bunch of City fans were causing some of the trouble. As usual an idiot minority in all teams ruins it for most.

Must admit trips to Germany have been great for me in the past
Anyone here go?

One example comment:

“I am surprised by this as well the German fans we met were great and the lack of segregation and beers I thought was ok. I am sorry to hear about the lad and I hope he gets through.

Although I have to say the aggressors I saw were city fans throwing beer at fans Schalke and city and arguing amongst each other. As we were leaving having just scored a winner there were the usual Charlied up young ones pushing each other and threatening to tt each other. Blues.

We went into the Schalke section to leave to avoid them. That’s right we felt safer leaving with the Schalke fans.

It gets worse every time I go. The team is sponsored by etihad a lot of our fans are sponsored by cocaine.”

well done City, not a great game and eventually will be remembered as you winning rather than the Chelsea keeper fiasco

Just back
1st half Chelsea’s tactics of time wasting and falling over at the slightest touch worked well
2nd they came more into it and Chelsea got back their credibility from their thrashing by us a couple of weeks ago.
But surely the game will be remembered for the total embarresment of Kepas refusal to be substituted at the end of extra time. He said he was ok but seemed to forget he’d had medical attention twice in the last half of extra time. Was he just wasting time?
And no other Chelsea player went up to him and told him to get off.
Lost all the respect they’d just won back.
And the irony is that if Willy had come into goal, he’s so good at penalty’s Chelsea may have won

Christ!, it was like watching one of the old Italian or Spanish teams of the sixties with chelsea, falling down and rolling around with little if any contact, then the cynical fouls and sheepish looks to a weak and gullible ref to avoid the red card that should have followed.
As the previous poster said, if they had put Willie on they could have nicked what they certainly did not deserve to win.
