Brighton away will be as tough as tonights game was. They’ve been brilliant lately.
2 losses and 3 draws?!

Brighton will be a piece of piss for MCFC.

Congrats on the title. Wouldn't bet against a hat trick next year.

Why are we having to listen to Neville talking about you united on Sky when they are an irrelevance?

Weird ...

It was the manner of the performances given the oooosition and their need to win that impressed in one of the draws and one of the very narrow defeats.

Sunday will still be nerve wracking. I’m not celebrating yet just relieved we’re just infront.
Finally, someone with sense, listening to the scousers on their thread you'd think City received the trophy last night,

Surprisingly they were actually quite complimentary of Vinnies goal last night.
I have to agree though, there seems to be quite a few who’ve thrown the towel in already.

Tbh, I’m now expecting both teams to win, Liverpool score early and City leaving it late.
Grey hairs everywhere.

I'm not sure it's throwing in the towel. Given the amount of points Liverpool and City have dropped in recent weeks the realistic outcome is that both City and Liverpool will win their last game and City will take the title.

Both team thoroughly deserve it given their form throughout the season.

Welcome to the LFC thread, half gave up when we lost to city never mind now. If the players had the attitude of some of them there would be no point turning up Sunday.

Well I still think if we score first tonight we'll do the double. wink

There's no halfway with us, either negative/pessimistic or deluded laugh

Looking highly likely that Liverpool will be getting the “we put the pressure on” Trophy this year .

In all fairness it has been a great title chase this year , Both Liverpool & City deserve loads of kudos this season.

Pretty sure it's a dvd release, not a trophy.

I genuinely hope Liverpool can do the impossible tonight.
Especially if it means they take their attention away from the weekend wink

thank you

with Firmino and Salah out and Barca resting their squad at the weekend, I am hoping for the impossible, but in reality just want us to give a decent account of ourselves like we did in the first leg, and not lose heavily

Keita out & Talksport are saying Big Virgil may be out too.

Think Liverpool could well get battered tonight.

Has it? There's only been two decent teams in the league all season the rest of the usual suspects have been awful including spurs, that we will still finish top 4 having lost 13 games is evidence of that.

City look like they are going to win it now and will have done so missing their best player pretty much all season and not having to be as good they were last season.

Liverpool on the otherhand began the year with a 7 point lead and have had a season where pretty much everything has gone their way and they still dont look like they will win it.

Id say its been a pretty poor season quality wise.

Was pretty clear that Liverpool & City were really the only contenders after just a few weeks.

If the title goes to the last day like it has this year then yes it's been a great title race imho.

The rest have been pretty average but you have to tip your hat to City & Liverpool

A congratulations is in order for helping get Citeh to Vol.2 on here also. Nice to see the community coming together to get the two City fans over the line.
