I know right know i should be buzzing at yet another decent finish in the league especially considering we started 366 days ago.

But todays performance was so poor.

Hopefully a strong finish in Europa and Chelsea win the FA cup.

VAR hasn't helped this season but we've brought it on ourselves with 1 point against Sheff Utd and Burnley when it should have been 4. Ah well, I'd have taken a decent run in Europe and 7th before the start of the season.

If anything, yesterdays match has highlighted our weaknesses.
Looking at Chelsea's passing, movement and close ball control, we still have a long way to go to even challenge for a top four finish, at least consistently. The way they passed around us yesterday was great to watch if frustating for Wolves fans - hard work and endeavour will only get you so far. You need top, top players to get over the finish line IMO.

Unfortunately for Wolves, you've been on the receiving end of two of our better performances of the season. But we've been total crap on too many occasions. We have some very good players at Chelsea, but not all of them are that consistent.

A lot were getting carried away after the restart when we won those 3 games, seemingly forgetting it was against 3 of the worst teams in the league. We are a decent top 8 side which is good considering the extra burden of Europa League games but for anything above that it depends on us playing above ourselves. I wouldn't be too annoyed about missing out on the Europa League next season as I think we would really struggle with a similar workload again after no break.

I agree, Hasn`t stopped the Spurs fan at work sending me messages all day though.

Last year they were in the CL final. This year they've sneaked into the Europa on the last game of the season at the expense of Wolves. He must be thrilled with the progress Spurs have made.

It's all work place piss taking to be honest. Fuelled by the picture I sent him of the league a few weeks back with a 'cream rises to the top' caption...

Our new away kit is possibly the worst kit I've seen unveiled for this season out of the whole league (and there have been some real bad ones) hehe

It's like they had a nice plain white kit with gold and black sleeve trim and that was that.

Then one of the suits at the top ripped a big line of coke and went GIMME SOME BLUE CLOUDS

On the same day, we announce that kit, and the news that Matt Doherty has signed for one of our rivals for about half price. Very odd.
Hopefully there will be some very good news soon.

Coady has got the England call up.

Thoroughly deserved, and fills me with pride, in my lifetime i can only remember watching Jarvis in the team.

Excited about Fabio Silva signing for 5 years, can’t wait to see him play.

Strong rumours on the “Molineux Mix” forum of another couple of high potential signings from Porto too, Esteves a young RWB and Leite a CB.

Well, Nuno has just re-signed until 2023, that's the best business we'll do this transfer window. I like the look of our additions, particularly Vitinha who looks like he'll slot straight in and give us something different. I was surprised to see Doherty sold to a rival especially for the price he went for but once the emotion is taken out of it, he had definitely reached his ceiling and who can blame him for wanting to get a move and a last big contract. Ironic that he scored the goal that ensured he'd have European football this season as well!

I reckon Uncle Jorge might have a wingback lined up for us but if not then Traore did OK there on the occasions that he played, it certainly won't be dull! I'm looking forward to seeing if we can begin to impose ourselves on games more, rather than be reactive.

I'll take that for a season opener...

Not sure about Adama in that position though.
