The biased opinions of the last few posters are a complete waste of bandwidth, whether they have any individual merit is irrelevant,
Not how the forum works...fatboy69 said:
If he had been honest after the game on Tuesday saying 'yes I fked up in the heat of the moment' then fair enough.
However he just spouted off loads of drivel & lied through his teeth.
Reputation thoroughly fked I would have thought which is a shame.

Exhibit A at the trial. Here is a clear evidence of a liar. However he just spouted off loads of drivel & lied through his teeth.

To be honest about this, and I'm a neutral supporting a League One club, I've had dealings with Mr Terry and he let my club down big time over something that wouldn't have taken much effort on his part to do.
Contrast this to another so-called bad boy, Craig Bellamy, who really couldn't do enough for us and went way beyond the call of duty.
Terry is an absolute tt and as for the poster further up the thread who claims he's still a "great" player, no he isn't. He's slow, cumbersome and if you look at a lot of the goals Chelsea have conceded this season, his errors are often to be seen. I'd happily have him at fault for one of those goals on Tuesday; he was way too deep defensively.
He has consistently let his fans and people who have him as a role model down through both his off field and on field antics. Tuesday's red card just about sums him up; a tawdry, nasty piece of work who almost cost his side a Champions League final place. The thought of Chelsea letting him anywhere the trophy presentation should they win is deplorable... almost makes me want to cheer on Bayern Munich.

Can all non-Chelsea fans leave the thread, it's getting really tedious. The biased opinions of the last few posters are a complete waste of bandwidth, whether they have any individual merit is irrelevant, they're not interesting or adding anything.
Im not even sure what they bother posting for to be honest. I mean it's not like Chelsea fans are all of a sudden going to change our minds about our captain. He might well be a , but he's our ! None of us really give a fk whether he comes across as a great role model to the children of our fellow football fans, and none of us really gives a toss if he fks slags. So long as I feel he is doing his utmost for the club I support - he could dress up as Hitler
He kneed Sanchez in the leg. He didn't finish his career. I cried a river for Sanchez, I really did. Yeah it's not in the rules but for fks sake, have any of you ever played sunday league football, or did anyone actually watch the game prior to 1992?
Most of this flak is just typical cheap shots that football fans fling at one another. That is all.
ps. Whose wife did Terry shag? I must have missed that.

See - you're just embarrassing yourself now. In any measure, by any standard, JT is a great player. The accolades he has achieved (at domestic/european & world level) speak for themselves. No need for me to put any argument forward.Contrast this to another so-called bad boy, Craig Bellamy, who really couldn't do enough for us and went way beyond the call of duty.

what a strange set of penalties?!
I think Ramos has finally taken the mantle from Chris waddle as worst penalty ever seen in a major semi final. Will be a good final. Bot teams without key players, should be a good one.
Won't be missing one this year!

Is a great player? Not any more IMO, maybe he was once upon a time but not now.I could name twenty central defenders playing in the Premier League who I'd choose above Terry.
FWIW I hope that Chelsea win the trophy. Had it been MUFC in the final I wouldn't have said that!
My point was, simply, that I don't believe terry should be allowed to collect the trophy if you win it. What is so wrng with that point that you get your arses in your hand?
What, I wonder, what you have said had his sending off cost you the game on Tuesday?

Go on then
Thomas VermaelenDavid Luiz
Phil Jagielka
Brede Hangeland
Daniel Agger
Vincent Kompany
Joleon Lescott
Phil Jones
Chris Smalling
Robert Huth
Steven Caulker
Ledley King (fit)
Roger Johnson
Rio Ferdinand
Nemanja Vidic (when fit)
Gary Cahill
Okay, happy to say I might have exaggerated a little but if on form and fitness, I'd pick any of those above Terry the way he has played this season. I certainly wouldn't take him to the Euros...
