Been a blues fan since the 60,s being born there, and my dad being an Evertonian , been at the games where we won the league in the 70,s against WBA, and in the eighties under Howard K, at the game against Watford to see them lift the cup, now live in Bedfordshire and go to watch MK Dons ,and not many Everton games, Everton have not had a game against the Dons but ,the only thing I would hope if the game ever happened, was we (BLUES)didn't give them to big a thumping,
I guess you will know during the game who you are wanting to win, I would like to see Bournemouth stay up. enjoy the game
Sounds like you're a bit older than me - my memories start a few years later but recall travelling all over the place with the great mid-80s side and seeing the cup final appearances, the league titles (though sadly being banned from travelling to the CEC final by my mum on the totally outrageous grounds of having an exam the same week). That said, seeing Bournemouth get promoted and then taking the title last season gave me just as much of a buzz as those Everton moments.I guess you will know during the game who you are wanting to win, I would like to see Bournemouth stay up. enjoy the game
Digimeistter, I'm a few rows behind you. If you get pie thrown at you when you jump up for an Everton goal, you'll know which team I've chosen
Eddie Howe was an Everton fan as a boy. If he can cope with tomorrow then I'm sure I can.
What can I say apart from what a game! Everton were cruising first half and just seemed to switch off in the 2nd.
Very weird day for me, couldn't bring myself to celebrate any of the goals.
Good result or me but yes, if the Everton fans hadn't invaded the pitch the ref would have blown up before the equaliser.

Pitch invasion after our third goal to blame for extra extra time?
I think the bigger problem was McCarthy going off, Cleverley is not a ball winner and can be excused for not being match fit, but they just ran through our midfield. Brilliant in the first half and woeful in the second, I think Martinez got this one badly wrong.Gassing Station | Football | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
