I was listening to TalkSport the other day after the Scotland game and a fan actually called in and said Rooney should have been playing! I think it was Cundy who had to point out that Rooney wouldn't even get into the Scotland team anymore.
he was the worst player on the pitch for Carricks testimonial the other day - playing with mostly players who retired years ago, pretty much tells you everything I think he could do a job for a couple of seasons if his mind was on it, new challange and all that, but its not going to happen with his wage demands of 300k a week. He is out of his mind, no one in the PL is going to pay that, and as said we would be better ploughing our money elsewhere.
Its defo Roms going so that should bring in a nice profit (23m paid ) 80m ish selling. dont think he is worth anywhere near that but hey ho who are we to complain. Its all gone quiet on the Ross front and whats more worrying is these rumblings regards Gueye a few PL clubs inc Arse have expressed an interest.

I think he could bring experience to the dressing room and the younger players would benefit from that as well. However I don't think he would add much (if anything) on the pitch. I've said all along we should be looking forward, not back.
And that's without the once a blue always a blue and badge kissing bks!

He's said that the only premier league team he'd play for would be Everton.
Well, he should go see out his years in a championship club then. Help get someone promoted. It's his only way to see glory again. He's probably got enough money. Go play for a team that needs leadership, inspiration etc.
Perhaps he thinks he's too good for a team that's not challenging for the top.

So he comes back to his 1 club love and kisses his badge when he scores and you are fine with that ? I think RK is convinced with him and knows a lot more about him then we do. Apparently his work rate on the pitch is very Alan Ball like, if that's the case he will fit right in and be a big hit with the Goodison faithful. I think Ross can say adios amigos

Nice to see we're gettin getting business done early for a change.
Not 100% convinced with Klaassen, but I've only seen him against United. Hopefully he's better than that!
Looking at last seasons Everton's lineup, Everton doesn't exactly have a Zidane, Pirlo, Iniesta, Sneijder and/or Xavi in midfield, so I'll guess he'll be fine. Not 100% convinced with Klaassen, but I've only seen him against United. Hopefully he's better than that!
Good buy Everton, well done.
Just be glad you've got access to EPL tv rights money otherwise players like Klaassen would never play for Everton.
