Just Sigurdsson if possible and we will go places. Recoup some money with the sale of Ross Barclay, and see if Rom will stay.

Its mad this. £100m spent. Better get it out the way before we sell Ross and maybe Laks.

I dont think we will finish much higher than this season. We've paid £100m to keep in touch of the top. It will be the season after next will be our season (aye rs lads) once the new signings bed in and Koeman gets them playing.

I just hope we dont get carried away and behave like our glorious neighbours and want RK out at Christmas if we're 6th! wink

If you want a laugh check out the Everton thread on rawk. I can feel the fume from Kent.

Glad to see the Keano deal through, I like the fact we've signed some good young English players.

Also good to see Lennon back in training, I think it's a shame that he probably won't get a game as I think playing will help him

Aye, very prolific
So he has played in a level above what you do and proven to be able to do it at a ratio of 1 in 2 ??
I reckon Dembele is going to be a great player in the next few years

Certainly making some good early moves.

Spending the Lukaku and Barkley money or think you'll keep them (or one of them)?

TV money for 1? extra 100m this year dont forget
then there is what they would normally have + the new guy who bought in

100m spend this year I think is going to be pretty norm for a lot of clubs

Moshri is a billionaire and as said the money is available, and also for the stadium. If his former partner does not get any further with Arse he may just join up with him again, after all his company name is on our Academy. His name is Usmanof and according to MOS he is worth $9.5 billion.

The great thing is we do not have to sell to survive, if Rom decides to stay and he may well do now he can see the intent, it will be a bonus, and not a financial disaster. So I do not think we are spending money we do not have

Will you stop pi$$ing on our parade. Time will tell if it's money well spent, until then we are going to have our moment of glory.

My rednose mates keep telling me this... We have spent more than anyone else since Jan.. So yeah its just tv money?

Nothing with the club being restructured, debt free and Steve Walsh. No.

Buying now because we can and before everyone bangs £5m on to the asking price because they know we have the Barclay and Lakaku money makes sense.

Any news on the new stadium? We spent some tv money on the move apparently smile

Is our Wayne on his way back to the Toffees? Reports suggest there were no offers from the MLS and that the Shrek look-a-like was reluctant to move his family to China in order to pursue a couple of cheap brassers. Everton are apparently willing to match his current salary at Man U.

So are you saying that it's a myth about the extra t.v. money?
I'm not knocking what u have spent ,I'm simply responding to the post which asked where the money was from like every club in the prem has now not got this...
Whether or not their owners choose to spend it is another question ...

I cannot see us paying him 300k a week. 1)he is not worth it and 2) it would cause uproar in the dressing room. He negotiated that wage deal while at the top of his game which is a long way short of where is now.

Sunderland got £99m for finishing in the bottom 3. I don't think we're get carried away with spending, I do believe there's a few more players to come and we've a lump of money due in for Lukaku and maybe Barkley if anyone will pay for him. It'll be interesting to see what our net spend will be at the end of the window smile

If he does come back on big money it will have to be related to performance/appearance.

Last thing we need is someone on 300k that isn't in the team.

Thought you'd been doing good business so far, but if getting Rooney is a massive backwards step, especially for the money that they're talking about.

Quite dont understand the fascination - he kissed the fking badge (utds) infront of your own fans and they are welcoming him back like he is a god??
