The board would have better off setting fire to the £150m transfer kitty.

Giving it to Koeman appears to have taken the club sharply backwards.
You spent 140, and sold 100 so its only a net of 40

You were always going to struggle selling your best player and forward, any side would

Thought you'd actually bought quite well - Pickford Sig and Keane

but you didn't buy what you really needed, like us with the VVD mess

Yup, and we've known Lukaku was going to leave since what February? Koeman should've had a replacement lined up from that point

the sad reality is you won't attract another proven Lukaku (they all want a "big" club and CL football), you will have to build one or find a young talent that hasn't been discovered yet.... or get lucky

Wayne Rooney vs United:

67.2% pass completion (worst of any outfield player)
0 chances created
Lost the ball more than any other player

Not the best return for Wayne

Lukaku wasn't all that proven when we bought him, so he was a bit of a punt albeit he'd had premier league experience. I think you'd need to take a gamble on someone like King at Bournemouth, or be viewed as a stepping stone for a foreign player. We should've had a replacement lined up ready for when he left, or at the very least pushed to sign someone before the season started when our stock was higher and not in the bottom 3.

And I could've told you Rooney was ste years ago laugh

I think RK thought Costa was in the bag for a loan spell. Bad call. He needs to get someone lined up for the Jan window.

Bolasie? He's back in training I think, I'm sure someone said he could be back next month but not 100% on that. He'll give us some pace which we desperately need, but he'll need someone to get on the end of balls and we don't have that at the moment. We played so deep against United it's silly!

Sad I know but it was something to do, their starting 11 only has 22 more, if you don't include U23 appearances... It goes the other way by 100+ if you count benches.
