Is Niasse the answer? Nope.

But somehow when he's on he manages to bundle the ball in the back of the net which is more than the rest of our team do...

ok mate. You've obviously missed when he cant control a ball, cant pass a ball, cant make his mind up what to do when he has the ball outside of the box.

Was he on the bench? That's a shame for him if he was and he sat it out.

Yup he was sat on the bench, Conte put Musonda on instead.

I kind of feel for him as I think he was badly advised. I get the feeling Conte didn't really want him so he won't play much, so he'll have no chance of going to the world cup unless he buys tickets and watches from the stands. I understand his agent did very well out of the deal though (reports of a £7m payment!). But then he stiffed us by pulling out of the medical in the summer, so maybe he'll end up trying to resurrect his career at Swansea or Sunderland in a few years time...

In another slightly related note, I see Rodwell's career has taken yet another turn for the worse.

No, your unwarranted approach was the catalyst for this decision. Turning his head after just 11 games at Watford changed the relationship between Silva and the board. He wanted to move to Everton and made it clear.

I look forward to one of the big clubs repeating this trick on Everton, if you ever garner a modicum of success.

What tosh. If he was any good it would not have harmed him one bit. Flash in the pan manager

Moyes and United. He promised he'd sign a new contract and then replaced Fergie with us not getting a bean in compensation.

Although I still think we did better out of that deal biggrin

It happens many times with players and managers up and down the country sadly. I'm sure Watford have done it to smaller clubs in the past and will no doubt continue to do so.

Honestly, I'm not sure how many Watford fans blame Everton directly. There was so much wrong with the Silva/Watford relationship, and some of it started before Everton came calling (the club moved Amrabat on, and Silva had no say). I reckon we still hate Palace more than you - L***n are irrelevant.
