If you think big sam is a step backwards ,then who else should we have got , if unsworth was still in charge we would be in bottom three , and RK well not sure we would of been much better ,Silva done nothing ,yes we were st again on sat , but we have only beaten Arsenal away around three times in forty odd years, lets just stuff Palace at home this weekend and all calm down ,

If the board had any balls they would pay him off and give Silva a long term contract and a few quid in the summer.alfa phil said:
i know our new man has plenty of money , but it aint going to happen , and what if the results didnt come with Silva
I may be wrong but Silva is a top manager - going to Watford was a massive mistake for him.I agree it won't happen but it will only cost a couple of million to ditch BFS.
I don’t think anything will happen till Summer. The board will judge BS on where we finish which I think will below halfway, if they stick with him we will go no where, just stagnate middle table.
The board this summer need to get someone proven, a big big name that will attract top players. The club needs massive investment that’s before you count the new Stadium .

To be honest guys I'm not even wishing for more big names to come in to the squad. I just wish we had a few "none star" players like Cahill,Osman,Hibbert,Ferguson who looked upset when we were being beaten, who were always up for the big game, who breathed Everton through and through and did their best for the fans.
This current heap of ste look beaten before the game starts, go 1-0 down and it's over, crap themselves in a game against one of the top 6 and just don't seem to have any spirit whatsoever. They are just not up for the fight and way out of their comfort zones it seems.
I go back a long way, from boys pen days and I've never yet seen a more expensive Everton team or a more prideless one.

I don't think spending fortunes helps, look at every team in recent history that chucks money about like a drunken sailor in port. Liverpool, Spurs, Citeh when they first cam in to money and us. The vast majority of signings don't work and end up being shipped out at a loss.
I'd rather 1 or 2 quality signings than half a dozen

BS dont seem to worry about away results as much ,probably knows win your home games and we will Finnish in top half, which when he took over, that will be more than enough, he has only lost at home to utd since he took over. I realy think he wants to do well at Everton, and hopefully next season we may win something, I hope Coleman is ok though,
