Expect a lot of activity after the WC. Bainsy as reported back at Finch Farm early so as to hit the ground running.
If I had a son I'd call him Leighton The man's attitude to the club is brilliant. Wayne.. I'm sad about this one we never learn. We sell our top goal scorer and biggest commercial asset before announcing his replacement - 2nd season in a row. Great business ffs or are they expecting Cenk to step up?
Absolutely nothing on the stadium either. Starting to loose faith in our new owners ability to run us properly.

Funding in place for new stadium, land bought and last I heard they were drilling some test bores around a month ago. It's not going to happen overnight, are you after a brick by brick update?
The funding isn't in place. Its miles from in place and there are some major political hurdles to overcome before its signed off by LCC. There is a vacant new stadium director post that has been announced but not appointed to. I expected like many to have seen some renders of what the place might look like. I'm reasonable about my expectations, but the longer we are kept in the dark the less likey it feels like it will happen. We have been here twice before and that was without the compelx (but brilliant) built sites.
I know we've seen the inside as Meis shared some ideas. I love the idea of a blue wall.
No need for a brick by brick update but some comms from the club would be nice.
Coyb.
Robles has gone, I always thought he was half decent when he got a chance. Tarashaj is going on trial with Grasshopper as well, the clear out continues!
We're being linked with Mina too, up until the England game I've been quite impressed with his performances in the World Cup. Far better than what we have at the moment, him and Tierney would be great additions to the first team

This made me chuckle
From Paddy Power
"Two years ago Roberto Martinez was sacked by Everton and now he's managing a team in the World Cup semi-final. Two months ago Sam Allardyce was sacked by Everton and he's watching the World Cup in a pub with a burger. Get sacked by Everton and your life will improve."

RM took us to our highest points total in his first year in charge and to two domestic cup semi finals in his second year in charge. Where it went wrong is we didn’t give him enough time before we got on his back. We’ve been fekin dire since he left and have now signed a manager with no track record as far as I can make out. Took Hull down and won a couple of games with Watford before he lost interest.
RM meanwhile has shown I’ve his management career that he can get teams promoted, win cups, get teams performing and taken mediocre teams to the brink of world success. Belgium were tinted in the Euros two years ago but hadn’t lost a game under Martinez until the WC semi final.
If anyone can tell me why we’ve signed Silva I’m all ears but no quality team wanted him and he was unemployed with a thread bare CV.
