He's not great, you got lucky avoiding rojo, he's awful...
Surely better available than those 2?

Saw this on twitter

Yannick Bolasie the season before he joined Everton for £30M:
•5 goals
•4 assists

Alex Iwobi the season before he joined Everton for £40M:
•3 goals
•7 assists

You’d think Everton would be in a good position to understand the dangers of paying lots for limited end product.

Other than Iwobi I think it's been a pretty good window. Got a fair chunk of deadwood moved on with a few more to follow in the next week or so. I think we spent too long chasing Zouma and Zaha, I thought it was obvious Chelsea wouldn't let him go.

The team is definitely building up nicely, I just hope we don't regret not picking up another central defender as January is a long way off!

Iwobi for 40 million?! That's a lot for a fairly average player (in my opinion of course).

I actually expected you to sign Zaha tbh, I don't know how close it actually was to happening.

The Iwobi fee I've seen quoted as £28m, £35m and £40m so who knows!

So even in today's market it's atleast £8m, £15m or £20m too much.

I dont think its been a bad transfer window. 2 more and we'll be great.

We'll get zahah in January. We've done what we did to Watford over Silva. No way should we spend £100m on one player.
Agreed, but I don't think we will get Zaha now. I do reckon we will try to get Zouma and I hope we have another go for Doucoure, but that's my personal take. I'm not sure why Fast Bug is so down on Iwobi, all my Arse mates reckon he's quick with a good work rate and presses up the field, that fits well with how Silva wants us to play. Added to that he has PL experience and is young, so I hope he's given a chance. As to the fee, it's a complete mystery why we've seen so many figures quoted, maybe it's add ons etc.

The fee is all about the anti-Everton media bias. Makes us look stupid for splashing the cash on an 'average' Arsenal player. He'll be good for us and help us crack on.

They're hoping to get the ban lifted and if that happens I fully expect us to get Zouma, which 'may' explain why we didn't want a permanent signing at CB. I would've liked Zaha but reckon that ship has sailed now, just hope Iwobi can provide competition for Bernard and develop.

I noticed nowhere in his attributes you said he was any good... I've yet to hear an Arsenal fan say that he's good, or that they're disappointed to see him go. I don't see him as an upgrade on Lookman to be honest and I think we've over paid for him.

I am prepared to see if he is any good, Marco seems to think he is. Anyway we have got him so let’s wait and see

May one boldly advocate that Everton are obligated to acquire 3 points from fixtures like this, if your noble club is to establish itself in the top 6 or 4 this season?

As a United fan you must surely be glad that the likes of Huddersfield and Cardiff have been relegated and that you hope you can better last seasons draw against Burnley?

One thing that did worry me was how easy they got in behind us on our right side, Seamus was no where.

Meh. Normal service has returned. 0-0 at Palace Gomes injured and a sending off. I'd call that a bad day in the office..

Least Watford got dicked. Lol.
