Up to 6th and another very good display I thought. We are very quick on the counter which is something we've not had for years. Could have been 4-1 today. Back 4 looked fine also.
Bernard looked more the player I'd hoped he'd be too. Things looking truly up.
Can't really hope for a win next week but I hope we don't sit back and we have a go, I'd be more than happy if that happens.

Agreed. I think Gylfie has more than earned his transfer fee! Looking much better, we have a good run of winnable games after the RS.Bernard looked more the player I'd hoped he'd be too. Things looking truly up.

We'll definitely give them a good game.
Hope so mate, I'd be over the moon if we snatched a point. We may get battered but for once I've a feeling we won't just sit back for wave after wave of attacks without any intention of pushing up a bit.
Fingers crossed.
Yes, Gylfie does deserve a big mention, he's fighting for everything now and seems to be right behind the cause, as does everyone who pulls the blue shirt on these days it seems. I had my doubts in July but I have to say I'm impressed with Marco and how he's set this squad up.
Long may it last.

Should have been 1-1, blatant penalty not given. Everton were hanging on in the end, saying it could have been 4-1 makes it sound comfortable when it was anything but.
Until VAR is brought in the penalty thing will remain a joke, we've been on the receiving end of some very dodgy decisions in the last month too that cost us.Just looked at the stats for the match and 4-1 would not have looked out of place.

Stats don't tell the full story. Your goal came from a throw in that should have been ours and up until that point you'd barely managed an attempt on goal. After you were a goal up, you had a few chances on the counter attack. I think Everton got away with it a little.
We had 71% possession16 shots vs 7
8 on target vs 1
Yet apparently we "got away with it a little"???!
We were well worth the 3 points, admittedly under a bit of pressure in the last 5 minutes but other than that very comfortable and should've won by more
