It's not going to change the result in our game, so no point worrying about it.

We've been looking better at the back recently, which is a good sign when we're over the park playing the RS soon!

I don’t know how the Rollover hot dogs are but I removed 15 of the Bain marie’s from Goodison park today.

Come on Blue boys nothing less then a win on Saturday.

It’s getting tough for Marco now, the lads are playing well, and competition for places is hard

Unchanged side, so Mina starts and Zouma is on the bench. Hoping for a decent win today as the RS are up next

Up to 6th and another very good display I thought. We are very quick on the counter which is something we've not had for years. Could have been 4-1 today. Back 4 looked fine also.

Bernard looked more the player I'd hoped he'd be too. Things looking truly up.

Can't really hope for a win next week but I hope we don't sit back and we have a go, I'd be more than happy if that happens.

Agreed. I think Gylfie has more than earned his transfer fee! Looking much better, we have a good run of winnable games after the RS.

We'll definitely give them a good game.

Hope so mate, I'd be over the moon if we snatched a point. We may get battered but for once I've a feeling we won't just sit back for wave after wave of attacks without any intention of pushing up a bit.
Fingers crossed.

Yes, Gylfie does deserve a big mention, he's fighting for everything now and seems to be right behind the cause, as does everyone who pulls the blue shirt on these days it seems. I had my doubts in July but I have to say I'm impressed with Marco and how he's set this squad up.

Long may it last.

Should have been 1-1, blatant penalty not given. Everton were hanging on in the end, saying it could have been 4-1 makes it sound comfortable when it was anything but.

Until VAR is brought in the penalty thing will remain a joke, we've been on the receiving end of some very dodgy decisions in the last month too that cost us.

Just looked at the stats for the match and 4-1 would not have looked out of place.

Stats don't tell the full story. Your goal came from a throw in that should have been ours and up until that point you'd barely managed an attempt on goal. After you were a goal up, you had a few chances on the counter attack. I think Everton got away with it a little.

We had 71% possession

16 shots vs 7

8 on target vs 1

Yet apparently we "got away with it a little"???!

We were well worth the 3 points, admittedly under a bit of pressure in the last 5 minutes but other than that very comfortable and should've won by more

We need a quality goal scorer target man someone who will put these chances away and kill teams off. Marco knows it and he is on the case for January, let’s hope he finds him

Top 6 boys. Top 6. Not that that matters as its the top 5 now. Lol. This time last season relegation was a real worry.

3 points and not a pretty win, but hey ho take that any day.

We will beat them at the pit. Coyb utft nsno.
