The difference between relegation and survival were the preceding 30-odd games where they did fk all for their pay.

Same effort as tonight over the next 4 and you never know.

If we play like we did tonight it could be interesting. Liverpool haven't really much to play for in the league, but they've got a derby game tomorrow night, then a Europa semi final middle of next week. Could be a good time for us to play them.

We need one of those pardewesque winning streaks which saved him his job season after season.
I'd be delighted with another point at Anfield. Us v them is always a bit like a cup game anyway so it could go either way. We may not have won there for 22 years but if we can get any result from it then it's a great result. Palace should be 3 points but with this team, I wouldn't be surprised if we lost to them and then beat Spurs.

If your game falls before our European tie he will rest players .......Whether or not that makes it a good time to play us I dont know, the chaps that come in are very hungry to show they should be playing in Europe... If we play ojo, Ibe, your fullbacks will have problems....

After the defeat away to Norwich I didn't think we had enough fight to get this close.

Not in our hands, but at least Rafa seems to have found the lads a bit of backbone.

If we go we're going down fighting and that's all you can ask.

If we'd had Rafa in charge earlier we'd be no where near this relegation fight on the basis of the last couple of games.

Thie problems of the club lie higher than the manager's office or the dressing room.
