Gary Neville slating the tactics in the first half, he's clueless, the tactics were spot on, keep it really tight so we're still in the game to have a bit of a go in the last 10-15. Nearly worked!
The gulf in ability and money between the two sides was vast, if we had been more open from the start we'd have conceded 4-5.

That was a free game for us provided our goal difference didn't take a hammering, absolutely no one thought we had a chance anyway, a draw would have been a bonus, critical to beat Brighton now.

Yes and no, man for man your lot are streets ahead, Rafa came up with a plan that gave us a feasible chance of a point, realistically all we could hope for. So on that basis sensible, on the other hand if the league do not do something about the disparity in spending you’re going to see more of it. A free game in some ways, to only have -1 in the GD column is not that bad. As you say Brighton next up is much more important in the round.
