Terrible game, short on quality, goals and belief. New signings desperately needed. Why do we have to suffer Joselu every game?

Do you lot still think your manager is the second coming of the messiah, or has reality bitten.

Seriously? Do you think your prejudice cuts any ice in the NE where we have a team that’s punching a division above its weight? We’d be dead and buried without his input. Do one.

Really?

Our squad (Huddersfield) cost less than yours and our manager has never managed in the Premier League before but we're five points ahead of you. Thank God Rafa isn't in charge of us if that's the case, we'd be really doomed! rofl

I think that Ashley should sack him and hire somebody who is more adaptable and confident whilst working under pressure because it seems that Rafa isn't the man for you, given your current predicament.

He's not the Messiah, y'know.

don't worry he has a massive anti-Rafa chip on his shoulder, despite him doing a thoroughly creditable job at Chelsea, and getting constantly slated by their cretinous fans

if you get new owners and give him some decent money he will make you into a half decent side

Yup, it's just Chelsea. Real Madrid fans and Inter Milan fans speak very highly of him. rofl

I’m not decrying Huddersfield in any way, what has been achieved so far is laudable, yet do some homework on squad costs. We’ve made a net profit of around £12m in the last 18 months, you’ve spent what £30m net in the last window? Our squad was put together in the championship to get us out. We’ve spent nowt after coming up, and while we’ve some PL standard players, Lascelles, Atsu for example, there’s plenty of bench warmers in most other squads making up our first 11.

Ah the old net spend argument, rofl

The squad is still worth what it is worth, if you overpaid for players and acted in a short termist fashion then more fool whoever oversaw it

Rafa said he's got the final say on transfers these days didn't he? Maybe paying the thick end of eleven million quid for Murphy is one of your problems, doesn't seem like canny business to me! You had a better squad than us (you were tipped from promotion, us for relegation) and spent more money when we both came up:

Everybody else's fault but his, honestly it's amazing how he gets away with the poor performances, the excuses just keep coming, the way your lot were carrying on on social media after the City game was hilarious. Newsflash, you don't get a trophy for only losing 0-1 to them!

If this were Carver, Pardew or BSA you lot would be seething, but it's Rafa, so you're not, proper cult of personality, he's pulled a blinder acting the way he has and admonishing himself of basically any blame

Nail/head. I swear, if Rafa committed suicide he'd leave a note saying someone else had killed him.

It can surely only be a matter of time before they turn on him?
This net spend they come out with is laughable, the fact is he's brought in players totalling £100million and speaking to my mag associates they are pretty shambolic at times.
As I said a couple of seasons ago Benitez the master tactician just had to beat us,Villa or Norwich to stay in the premier and he couldn't even manage that.

There's only so much a manager can do coming in towards the end of the season though, that's a bit unfair.

WHAT??? He couldn't beat Villa because there's only so much a manager can do. FFS, a reasonably bright chimp could have managed a team to beat them. Chelsea were utter crap that season and we played them within a few weeks of you lot, away (you were at home), and won 4-0. They were so bad, even Alexander Pato scored. And we weren't even playing for anything, unlike you who were supposed to be fighting for your premiership lives. They were beyond terrible.

FN2TypeR is so right, he's really done a number on you lot. It's like a show of mass hypnotism, where you're all under his spell but don't know it, and the rest of us in the audience are laughing at you.

Great result guys and a well deserved win, also thought Murphey showed some class in the second half.

Three points very much needed.

Some decent fixtures for us tomorrow as well.

Can’t imagine Hughes is long for his job after that result.

Definitely needed those 3 points, and they were fully deserved. Wasteful in front of goal, lacked that killer instinct despite getting into good positions in the final 3rd. We need a striker where there can be some output up front. Gayle is lost on his own, Joselu doesnt offer enough alongside him.

Thought Murphy was a different player 2nd half. Darlow kept us in it.
