He was never selling this season because there's nobody stupid enough to stump up his asking price for a club which has seen little to no investment in it for a decade.
£350m or £400m might be achievable if there had been a good level of investment in both team and facilities. He seems to think he can ask the same as for all the other houses in the street, despite the guttering hanging down, the single glazed windows, stty electrics and needing a new kitchen, the avocado bathroom ripping out and that awful, awful woodchip wallpaper stripping off.
I found it quite funny last month when he blamed greedy landlords for House of Fraser stores being closed while being the greediest of the lot.
In fact, in writing this, in my mind I've just associated him with Sherrif Fatman of Carter USM fame:
"There's bats in the belfrey
The windows are jammed
The toilet's ain't healthy
He don't give a damn
Just chuckles and smiles
Laughs like a madman
A born again Rachman
Here comes Sherrif Fatman"

Given the ownership, lose term, structure no, their the fat s. As is everything sadly.
A point would have been fair, but some positives at least.
How’s life in the semi pros Ray? Enjoying towns more inbred than your own?
We're enjoying it aye, its going steadily enough. A few defensive concerns to iron out but we'll bounce back. A point would have been fair, but some positives at least.

I'm jealous of you guys being in the PL, you're obviously having a great time!

Drowning your sorrows Mr Ellroy? I can't make any sense of the first line. Inbred? my town? I'll remember that next time you come to the Riverside A point would have been fair, but some positives at least.

As for semi pros, you give them more credit than they deserve. I've seen some pub league players who wouldn't look out of place in that league, honestly the standard is pretty poor. We seem to be getting quite good at picking up red cards though
It seems there was one of those courtroom artists in the pizza place the other night.......

I enjoyed the last couple of Championship campaigns. Which is good, as we're likely to get another one.
The Championship was great, this is just misery. Next time, however, we won’t have Rafa...Gassing Station | Football | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
