A very good set of results for us this weekend. If we can follow it up with a result on Tuesday night I’ll perhaps start to be a little more optimistic about things on the pitch.

Almiron looks to be a bit of a player, which is great to see, and tough, that challenge for the red card would have finished many a debutant’s game.

However, I’d like to say again, how good is Longstaff? He’s a kid, not been playing ten minutes and looks like a real, proper player. Brilliant stuff and keeping Shelvey out of the team at the minute, and that says a lot.

Agreed, he was brilliant yesterday. Give me him over Shelvey any day. If only that shot which hit the bar had gone in......goal of the month.

Another important game tonight. One that you'd hope we could get something from, especially as I can see Cardiff doing well against Everton.

Wolves should prove to strong for Huddersfield i'd imagine tonight.

Southhampton vs Fulham tomorrow so one of them could suffer at least, but a draw may be nice.

Looking forward to tonight, which is unusual for an NUFC match of late. Hopefully we can continue our attractive football although I expect a tougher test against Burnley.

It has to be 3 points this evening to take us above Burnley... fingers crossed Everton beat Cardiff and Leicester have reaction and beat Brighton... That would give us 2 games clear of the bottom 3...

Very decent first half. Great to see Longstaff get a goal and what a finish by Schar!

What a bloody strike from Schär and Longstaff just gets better, by the minute almost. Glad to see him get off the mark. A very good result.

If Huddersfield had just done the decent thing and lost it would have been the perfect night for us. A little too late for them though I think.

So tomorrow’s game? Hopefully, a nice nil nil for me. That would be perfect.

Chuffed to bits for Longy.

Great result tonight and I can't wait to see the Schar goal, sublime by all accounts.

Some good results for us today.

Be nice to pick up something against the hammers, and not beyond the realms of possibility.

Poor, never really looked like scoring.

We depend heavily on staying tight defensively and hitting on the break.

Weren’t at the races in the first half and was over by half time.

Improved a bit in the second and had some chances, but couldn’t take any of them. If we had got one back possibly a different game, but there you go. Got what we deserved in the end.

When all’s said and done the last week, or so, has been pretty good for us in terms of our results, and others, so let’s not be to downhearted.

A win for Chelsea this afternoon wouldn’t be a bad thing either, just to nail Fulham a bit further.

Agreed, that three points is massive with Cardiff and Southampton winning.

Somehow Pickford avoided a red for a rugby tackle on rondon and then apparently saved the penalty, seems like justice done.

Well bloody hell, that was a reply and no mistake.

How that oaf Pickford stayed on the pitch I will never know. Well apart from Lee Mason being one of the worst referees we ever see. He’s bloody awful.

Have to say I’ve some sympathy for the toffee’s view that the winner was offside...

Arsenal sniffing around Schar allegedly, wouldnt be surprised if theres a few offers for players in the summer at hugely inflated figures from what we bought them for. Some justifiably are worth far more in the current market.

Yes spectacular goal, think a draw was probably a justified result.
