I can't believe we're (apparently) in advanced talks to sign PSG defender Moussa Sissako. One letter the difference.

Apparently Maximin is due for a medical this weekend. Another flair player.

A lot of pace in that front three, could be very impressive

English record attendance in Europe, we're top: https://talksport.com/football/130965/record-footb...
Ah, modifying it to English only now! However, that game was played at Wembley so who's to say another English club (such as Liverpool or Man Utd) wouldn't be able to exceed that figure if the capacity of their grounds allowed? After all, I'm sure if someone had said to you a couple of years ago that Spurs only get 35k for home games you'd have responded with "that's because we can't fit any more in"....
Not modifying, it was always about English clubs in Europe. And I doubt Newcastle could get 87+k for a European Match - against a second tier German side.

Anyway, this is all rather silly, give me a shout when you have a metric you can quote that shows Newcastle are "bigger" than Spurs.
When was the last time either club won the league? Remember Blackburn Rovers have won it more times than either Tottingham or Newcastle in the last 50 years.

Big clubs?

Well two signings, and a loan with right to buy, which gives us actual cover at left back, wonders will never cease.

What else? Right back and striker for me and then offload one or two, ginger central midfielder anyone?

Can’t help, but feel that with this spending and Rafa we’d all be on an upward curve, but this feels like a st, managers not that great therefore we need to spend moment.

It’s plasters over a wound rather than the treatment needed for the patient to recover.

Much, much more to do.

P.s. Blackburn? LMFAO.

Could be worse - Bruce + no signings.

Am I right in thinking we have to get rid of a few players now?

Right back has to be a priority. We've got a fair sized squad now but whether or not they're any good is another thing. Considering there are a handful of returned loanees who weren't good enough would suggest we need to sell a couple. Looks like Gayle is going to get an opportunity though. Still think he could be useful.

We can only name 25(?) for the league squad, although under 21s are exempt as I understand it. So we do need to get rid of some players, or they just sit in the reserves sucking cash out of the club.

Alleged sighting of a new player at the ground today, but no announcement and pics are from some distance, so not clear.

Anyone heard anything?
