Leeds fan here - please do us a favour!
I really want Burnley to get relegated. Sadly I don’t think us beating them is going to be enough for Leeds.
As another Leeds fan I think you're right - don't see us getting anything at Brentford in which case Burnley are safe regardless of the result on Sunday. Still hope you beat them though! smile

One of my mates is a Leeds fan and was constantly texting last night as the games unfolded. I think we have enough to beat Burnley but not so sure if Leeds will get anything on the last day. They can't rely on us or try to hold for a draw in case we don't beat Burnley. They've got to go all out and try and win the game. It will be a nervous and exciting weekend of football whatever happens. I hope Leeds stay up though.

Watched Rangers match today, SFA Cup, (and through the week too).
Wouldn't mind Bassey & Tavernier in our side although Bassey looks to be carrying a bit of weight.
And another call out for Pukki from Norwich if management is listening.

11th on 49 points.

Some season this.

Memorable for so many reasons.

Sad to see Joelinton go off on a stretcher, hoping it's not too serious.

Wilson back and firing. If we can keep him fit, next season could be great for him. Assuming, of course, we don't sell him...

Very well done the lads, amazing really considering what a hole we were in a while back.
ASM not firing on all cylinders at the moment however the second goal was thx to his excellent pass.
Looking forward to the future.

Not a surprise given you spent £112m in January.

19th to 11th. Money wisely spent.

Fantastic. Can’t wait for 22/23.

Just sounds like a cut thankfully.

A season ending with hope. How long has it been since that happened.

Every season under Ashley.

The difference this time is that hope isn't due to be utterly smashed on the rocks of his empty wallet.

But, yes, it's been a long time since we ended with such positivity, cohesion and promise of what is to come.

It goes up every time some other bitter supporter says its purely down to money. We bought Trippier, Burn, Wood & Targett came in on loan. Trippier has been out for most of that. Burn & Targett have been brilliant, but other than Bruno, the others were buys any other club could have made. Our main striker was injured so we paid about £20m too much for Chris Wood. The results have come through getting the likes of Schar, Krafth, Fraser, Joelinton, Shelvey and Longstaff playing far above what they were under Bruce.

Looking forward to next season already, hopefully we can look to add a couple of exciting additions who offer goals but we also need another CB who can push Schar and Burn.

For the first time since the Sir Bobby years I'm looking forward to next season. It's an odd feeling to be honest. Hopefully I'll get to a game next season too, not been since pre COVID.

Can only echo most of the above.
Fantastic finish, the whole team playing above their previous level, and mostly, hope for next season rather than relief that we've scraped through or worse.

Indeed. Throwing money about doesn't guarantee anything (Everton anyone...) It has helped no doubt about it but getting the best from existing players has been the biggest key to our success. I'd even add Lascelles to that list. He looked finished under Bruce although I do think that having better defenders around him has helped massively too. As you say, having Wilson missing for a large part of the season meant we had to bring Wood in so although we spent money on him, I'd not say that he had too much impact on the team, at least goals wise.

Never thought much of Lascelles, seemed a little lost at times, maybe the captaincy was a heavy load on his shoulders.
Wood should have been left where he was but it's obvious watching Cal Wilson that we were missing a proper centre forward/striker. He's there in the penalty area whenever there's a run up the wing. That has been missing.

They've spent £500 million since 2016 but in the last transfer window they spent £76 Million (2nd only to us).
