Let's look at this another way.
We were only 3 wins away from a place in Europe.
If Sir Edward Howe had been in charge since last September........

It’s time to face up to the face up to the facts that every other fan will want you to fail. They twist the truth and ignore all your history whilst claiming everything you do from now on is tainted and “bought” and somehow you’re personally responsible!
Meanwhile they’ll ignore their own clubs “black history” and where their money has come from. As each allegation is proved to be false they’ll move on to another.
On the flip side, success (after years of struggling) is brillant so enjoy it as long as possible and (as long as you don’t take points of us ) fk em!

Which club has achieved success in recent years - as in winning trophies - without throwing money at it? The debate in the case of Man City and Newcastle is probably more about where their money's coming from but that comes back to the fit and proper owner test; however, both clubs passed so to me there's no blame on either - if people don't like the outcome lobby for the rules around ownership to be changed.

The moaners (who probably had no interest in Saudi before) are probably posting about it on Facebook (Saudi sponsored). Going via hardware made by Cisco (Saudi sponsored).

Probably use petrol from BP, Shell, and Total (Saudi sponsored).

Probably fly on their holidays on Boeing aircraft (Saudi sponsored).

Maybe they even watch Disney (Saudi sponsored).

If they do any of those things then their opinion means Jack st.

Behind every great fortune, lies a great crime - Plato. (hahaha)

Look, nothings fair. Ever. The issue, for me, is the imbalance of teams in the league which simply cannot compete with bought trophy clubs, I feel it isnt fair on the home grown talent reliant clubs (look at the home Nations Clubs?)

It happened in the NFL in the 80/90;s prior to the league returning the franchises to the league...same st different sandwich.

It seems to have been the same for most of my 56 years. Growing up it was Leeds then Utd and Liverpool and later Chelsea and now us. Maybe Newcastles next?
“Lesser” teams never really got a sniff of anything except maybe a decent cup run.

The same Leicester team that shouldn't have been in the Premier League anyway as they cheated FFP rules to get there and then paid their way out of trouble instead of being given any real punishment?

The argument in short:

Team A - spunks lots of money on players, wins nothing = good

Team B - spunks lots of money on players, wins league = bad

Team C - doesn't spend anything on players, wins league = doesn't exist

Good to see KT getting an England call up, though I really feel Dan Burn deserved one, particularly over Maguire.

Also found myself agreeing with Simon Jordan about the Grealish-Almiron comment. What a prize moron.

The dancing around in front of the Villa fans like he was important irked me also.

End Bell.

He strikes me as the sort who doesn’t have the intelligence not to let fame go to his head. I’m ok with that, but needlessly having a dig at a fellow player is just unprofessional and totally uncalled for. I don’t even think the two have any history for it to make any sense.

I think even the most diehard MCFC fans would agree that he was bit part at best this season and that he has a long long way to go before justifying his transfer fee.

Looks like Targett is having a medical today. Good news, a solid signing.

A very decent signing indeed.
