Just watched on MOTD. I thought the sending off was wrong yesterday and the TV pics confirmed it.
Although Burney's Dyche saying the referee's decision changed the game, it didn't. We scored the penalty and didn't score any more so 10 men or 11 men that was a 1:0 game. Burnley would never have scored anyway. The European Cup Winners Cup guys took me back a bit on Saturday (the surviving players were presented at half time), I was 9 years old when that match was played and I remember beilng allowed to stay up to watch it on tv. A few days later I went by bus from our home in Leytonstone to see my nan & grandad who lived near the ground. I was surprised and delighted to get off the bus and see thousands of WH fans lining Green Street as the team brought the cup home. They opened the ground and I was thrilled to go in and see the team parade the trophy.
In those days a 9 year old could travel around London alone.
Anyway that was me, hook, line & sinker.
Does anybody know were I can get another programme from Saturday? It was a commererative version and I want to get one for a friend.

Looks like Sam has made his decision to leave:-

It is a tricky appointment to make. Ideally, you'd want them to offer Allardyce a nice 3 year deal, keep us safe next season and then give him a nice big pay-off as a thank you before bringing in a bigger name that will get us playing attractive football on a weekly basis, in order to fill the OS. Or maybe they'll bring 'Arry back.

It would be fairly typical for us to let Sam go with no real idea who to bring in.
C'mon, surely you didn't expect a new appointment to be undertaken in a professional and timely manner behind closed doors bad company said:

Although the potential & new stadium etc might appeal to him.
The others offer nothing over what BS already brings IMO, especially McLaren who can fk right off.
