Yep, ever improving performances and still a few good players to make it in to the squad, played three, won two, drawn one - not a shabby start and I expect us to be there or there about at the end of the season.

We don't have to go bragging about U23 wins to make ourselves feel good, that's for sure!

By the by I heard some of your fans singing in the away end at the SoL yesterday; nawt better to do on a weekend, lads? rofl

It's £20 - £25 to get in, cheers for the brass.

I'll take a 4-1 win away all day long - although Gillingham had enough chances to score 4 of their own.

When was the last time that the same 3 players scored in consecutive games? Come to think of it, when was the last time we scored at least 3 in consecutive games?

3-2 against Chelsea
3-0 against Everton

Under Fat Sam, so May 2016. I was at the Chelsea game, the atmosphere was absolutely sensational.

Oh yes, never heard noise like that at the SoL, or indeed at Roker (except perhaps the promotion winning game 79/80 vs West ham).

A crap performance from us by all accounts, but winning from behind and scratching wins from where you can is what this league is all about. If we had half this level of fight last season we would have stayed up. I appreciate that we have stepped down a level but the difference in the squad in terms of fight, fitness and determination is night and day.

It's early days but I can't see us struggling to get out of this league, it's sad that we had to fall so low to see the changes that were required and to regain that winning mentality, though.

I have just spent two hundred and fifty quid on a train ticket, hotel and match ticket for our home game against Oxford, t'will be my second league match of the season, God help me!

Abysmal viewing on my 100% legitimate stream here, poor passing, poor defending, poor everything.

Worst performance of the season by a mile.

Beer time! silly

They show all the games on the official SAFsee thingy that they promote on their website. The only ones that they can't show in the UK is the Saturday 3pm games due to some licensing laws rubbish. They show 'em to folk outside of the UK though so a VPN sorts that.

If you can't be arsed paying then someone somewhere will have it available. I did today, it was awful rofl

Coventry Away at the weekend, 5k+ Sunderland fans travelling down. Should be a great atmosphere. I predict a 3-1 win for us with Max Power, Maja and Gooch scoring. Lots of big games coming up this month, haway the lads!

Another win today, third clean sheet in a row, fourth consecutive win, no losses in seven and we're sitting third in the table with a game in hand and four points ahead of forth place whilst just finishing up a tough period of suspensions and injuries.

Onwards!
