Billy Hughes has passed away only 70, fantastic player for us and part of the 73 team. What I would give for a player like him instead of the feckless wasters we have now. R.I.P.

Something of a revival in the league after a dire first half of the season & beginning of Parkinson.

Let’s hope they can keep it up.

More sad news today....

He was immense as a player, and is a great guy with it. I'm sure this will lead to more debate about using the head in the game - although balls were a lot heavier in those days.

Best wishes to the Watson family.

Folks, I think that it is safe to say, without any exaggeration or hyperbole that we are, quite simply, the greatest football team in the world party

It’s definitely either Sunderland or Port Vale.

Afternoon all, seeing as my lot seem to be absent thought I’d pop in to say hello, excuse the candles and cross, I don’t live in eternal darkness like you lot.

Joking aside nice to see you’re picking up, maybe on the road to some redemption at last?

Not sure we did, we had the better possession, were probably the better team over 90 mins, but no creativity in midfield.

Great away following, again. Not easy to get a beer beforehand, thanks to the bloody clueless police.
