Cant believe QPR got away with it. Such a small pointless fine for blatently breaking the rules. Its so so wrong and shows the weight behind being a London club. I would have much much prefered the right thing being done and QPR getting relegated to the playoffs and Swansea going up auto.....and thats from a Cardiff fan. Its just so so wrong that its now OK to cheat!
QPR didn't 'get away with it' , they proved they were innocent

Seems odd that you forget mention Cardiff and 3rd party ownership though - still you play under different rules right?
Exactly. Cardiff can (and do) field players with 3rd party arrangements under the more relaxed Welsh FA rules.

QPR come under the jurisdiction of the much tighter English FA rules. And they are champions.

COME ON U RRRRRRRSSSSSSSS!

Summing up Millwall's season. A good first one back and better than I expected at 9th. That should give most of our squad their first years experience at that level, all we need to do now is build slowly and consolidate. Well done Kenny Jackett for turning us around and making the last few seasons an enjoyable experience. Next season's season ticket is already paid for and is a 'touch' at £320.

Reckon you'll keep Morrison? Norwich have been rumourer to be after him and supposedly Fulham made a bid of around 2.5 - 3mil. Dont think Milwall are in a position to turn that sort of money down. Been a good season for your lot and Jackett has done an excellent job.

I don't want Morrison at Carrow Road. He turned us down once before and we need a better standard than him now.

Do you honestly think Norwich have a chance attracting any big name players? HAHAHAHA! you lot will be the whipping boys next year. Mark my words. I bet Holt doesn't get more than 6 goals next season.

No he can't wink- I went in peace into their thread and wish I hadn't bothered! Shame to see Swans v Nottm (yes) Forest semi- would have been a cracking Final I reckon. My guess- SCvNottmF, maybe too close to call, but Swans to nick it (if only for the lovely football they play). The other semi, wouldn't like to say, it depends which (if any... biggrin) Cardiff turn up. Jones can't have let them off the hook after 'Boro so there is no way they will that poor again surely? but Reading were the form team until recently.

Swansea / Reading final, with Royals winning on pens after a 4-4 draw cool (and only because it's closer for an away game next season!).

Not too worried about money these days with our American Chairman, John Berylson. He enjoys a tidy relationship with Kenny Jackett and will stump up what ever KJ wants, within reason. Only King Kenny doesn't need to waste big bucks as he is used to making silk purses from sow's ears.

We are in no hurry to sell Morison, we don't need the money these days, however if he wants to leave, he's free to do so for the right price.

Times have never been better.

Is that new priced or renewal? Our prices have just been announced, £612 for Kop, £750 for east and west hehe

That was the super saver price in April for everyone. Thinks it's gone up to £400 for that area of the ground behind the goal now.

I think a big part of our success since Lambert took charge has been the fact we haven't looked to sign "big name players" for the sake of it. Lambert doesn't want inflated egos coming into his dressing room and upsetting the harmony he's created.
He seeks hungry players with something to prove and so far he has a pretty good track record of identifying them, signing them and getting them to perform.

Your wet dream of signing lots of big name players equals mortgaging the club up to the hilt on the dream of retaining your league status.
While it's all a bit of a laugh now, when Bernie and his money decide to foxtrot oscar you're fecked.

As for Holt not getting 6 goals, I'll accept your bet. Tenner to a charity of our respective choice says he does. In fact, I'll raise you to 20 and say he'll get at least 10 goals next season. Put your money where your mouth is.

By 6 goals i mean Premiership goals. A hat trick against Carlise in the league cup doesn't count. If you are happy with that we have a bet on.
beer

BTW, i hope Ecclestone goes. There are rumours of another big Indian investor comming in but personally i would prefer the Mittal family to buy out Flavio and Bernie.

Latest rumour on signings for us are Joe Cole (can't see it mysef plus not too excited by him) and Jenas ( a player i would like to see wearing the hoops next year). Also Kyle Naughton and Matthew Upson.

I think QPR will be linked with more players this summer than any other team in the country. Should make for an interesting summer.

I see, moving the goalposts already. :P

OK, I'll have some of that. He *will* score a few goals next season. Bear in mind he was playing in the Unibond Premier league not too many years back while working as a tyre fitter and every level he's stepped up to so far people have doubted his ability to score at the next level up. Every time he's delivered.

So this time next year (or before Xmas in my opinion!) send your tenner to:

As its now over for another season, quick update to finish it off.

Congrats to QPR, Norwich and Swansea. Commiserations Preston, Sheff Utd & Shorpe.

It was very tight at the top, right up to the last couple of games but think its fair to say the right teams have gone up.

Another season of nearly but not quite for Cardiff, Reading and Forest and i'm sure there's a lot of others looking to improve for next season.

Cardiff finally sacked Dave Jones today. Done a great job in the time he's been there, but think its fair to say the club needed a change and hopefully it will lead to getting over the final hurdle in future seasons.

Onto next season..... smile
