Did anyone do very well? I got a couple of correct results I think, but really need Man Utd to win 3-0 tonight. 1st table on Tuesday morning??
It wasn't the highest of scoring weekends - lets put it like that! I'm just putting the table together so I should get a final one for this week up either after the game tonight or first thing tomorrow as i'm off work at the moment.
Gents - week one - over and done with.
I wish I could claim to have had a roaring start to the season........ ah well.
Looks like TJK is carrying on from where he left off last year. 4 correct results and 3 spot on scores!
Lets not dwell on the first week though eh? Otherwise Blackpool would be getting carried away.
Matches for next week are as follows - same format - all predictions in by midnight Friday.
Saturday, 21 August 2010
Arsenal v Blackpool
Birmingham v Blackburn
Everton v Wolverhampton
Stoke v Tottenham
West Brom v Sunderland
West Ham v Bolton
Wigan v Chelsea
Sunday, 22 August 2010
Newcastle v Aston Villa
Fulham v Man Utd
Monday 23 August 2010
Manchester City v Liverpool

Top of the league!!!
Can I just check on the scoring (perhaps I got it wrong last year)
You get 1pt for a correct result
Your get an extra 3 points for a Correct score? (4pts in total?)
Just checking as last year I thought it worked this way, but I might have not taken any notice
T-J-K
Ah could be a mistake on my part then - I've scored it as one point for a correct score and three points total for a correct result. Can I just check on the scoring (perhaps I got it wrong last year)

Happy to change things - how do people want it scoring?

Then, when comparing this season with last, at least we're comparing like-for-like.
Well thats my opinion anyway.
But your ball, your rules.
