What Britton does fits in with the 'Swansea Way'. He went to Sheffield and got nowhere, he was welcomed back to us and got even better. Allen just didn't have the same influence on the way we play. BR wanted him at all costs and that's why you paid £15m for him, the threshold set by the club if he wanted to take any player with him. Allen is young and has masses of potential to develop into a great player, which is probably why BR wanted him. I really don't know enough about LFC to say if Britton could do for them, what he does for us. But from a Swansea perspective, the 'right' player left.

Incredible success story. Its only 4/5 years ago you played us at Gigg to get promoted. Wrecked the place your goalkeeper smacked one of our fans. Memories eh ;-) Seriously though your success was not about loads of money was it? Which makes it refreshing.

It has been about stability, team spirit, a decisive move to a more continental style (thanks Roberto), an amazing board of directors, good choice in managers and a bit of luck along the way.

I think we have shown anything is possible if you are patient and have a long-term strategy.

Three cracking goals, especially Ben Davies' first in the top flight, hard to remember that he was on £400 a week at the start of the season!!. It will be a shame if Danny Graham moves on, but if he is going, it must be something he is pushing for.

Whilst I'd like to see you beat Chelsea (as like most people, I usually root for the underdog) I'm not sure a Swansea v Bradford final would rivetting viewing.

But make no mistake, I still think you are only 50-50 to go through. A Chelsea with its tails-up is a formidable foe.
