As a Spurs fan, have to also vote for Gomes.

On a good day, he's actually a very decent shot stopper and fairly acrobatic with many saves. However, poor in crosses, too many mistakes, it hardly inspires confidence behind the back four.

This year I'd say Palacios has really underperformed. Seen him a few times at the Lane and he'd regularly lose the ball going forward or make poor passes that were easily intercepted. Big drop in form compared to last year. Prob not bad enough to make the worst XI though.

not singling you out but I keep on reading this and I don't get it, it's a throwaway comment - if a keeper isn't a good shot stopper, what the bloody hell is he doing between the sticks?

I hope WBA stay up mate. You have our old manager in Roy Hodgson and as a Fulham fan I know you will be super dificult to beat next season.
He's already made us a much better team, using the same players Di Matteo had. Another 3 points and I think we shall be safe.

As it's coming to the end of the season, me and mate were arguing over who are the worst players in the Premiership. This is what we came up with.

GK - Manuel Almunia

RB - Tony Hibbert
CB - Titus Bramble
CB - Jody Craddock
LB - Stephen Crainey

RM - Shaun Wright-Phillips
CM - Dean Whitehead
CM - Steve Sidwell
LM - Julien Faubert

ST - David N'Gog
ST - Victor Anichebe

SUBS:
Ali Al-Habsi
Stephen Carr
Steven Caldwell
Joe Cole
Salif Diao
Benjani Mwaruwari
Carlton Cole
my god no-one from the Toon!!!!

I would say Ameobi is not Prem material - not sure if he is worst but not far off

Sol is missing from the list

Alan Smith - not even a quarter of the player he used to be

i'd disagree with shawn wright aswell.

whilst he's clearly not the player he was he's not the worst right winger this year

John Pantsil needs to be added to the list. 3 own goals is it?
But he can run all day and always shows his gratitude to the supporters.

For me Ameobi is a shoe in, Ebanks-Blake at Wolves and Anton Ferdinand.

It is seasonal though. i used to loath Chris Baird who was terrible in his first couple of seasons with us, nowadays he's pretty dependable.

He's an excellent manager who will do your club proud. I wish he was still with us.

As a Rovers fan I can quite catergorically say that, while pretty crap, Benjani is not as crap as Jason Roberts.

And you forgot Keith Andrews. He should be captain and player/manager.

Cannot believe people are suggesting Lucas. He's arguably been Liverpool's best player under Dalgiesh.

Shudder at the thought.

Taibi was actually a very good GK. He just had a career defining day that day! I think the pressure got to him really. If he had been eased in a little and THAT goal hadnt happened he would have been the no.1 for a good few years IMO

Torres has to be in that team. Compared to his high standard.

so many to choose from....

I think kingston is a good call, upson perhaps too?

I reckon Milner has been well below par this season - not up to england selection for me at present.

I'm not a fan of James Milner, I don't see what he brings to our National side. Specially as a winger.
